The staff is unprofessional and treats guests as if they are stupid. It is a small hotel compared to other ones in other countries, but they don't know how to handle big reservations or special requests. You are much better off finding an agriturismo or another hotel in the center. Rude staff, terrible management, and poor service.

Dear Soo Jung Kang, we are terribly sorry, but we haven't found your name in our list of guests. Is it possible that maybe you confused Hotel Calissano with another Hotel? Thank you very much. Hotel Calissano's Front Desk

This hotel is an example of a well executed work and leisure home away from home. Modern, yet elegantly furnished and equipped, everything worked well, generously furnished and lots of bathroom amenities. The staff is extremely friendly, efficient and smiley and their English is impeccable (esp. Gianni! :). The center of Alba is a few minutes' walk away, pretty easy...

We are invited to join our french friends for a weekend to experience the truffle fair and gastronomy around Alba. We were recommended to book Hotel Calissano 9 months prior as it is the busiest season in Alba. From the day we sent inquiry via email to the day we check in, the staff has been extremely polite and efficient....

I stay at this hotel when in Alba on business. It is very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable rooms and very quiet. Can be a little hard to find. Walking distance to Alba historic town center. Underground parking. Nice basic breakfast service. Highly recommended

We had booked a hotel room for three nights, but at the last minute changed to a one bedroom apartment since we had our two dogs, and wanted more space). The staff very happily cancelled our original booking and made the new booking. Very happy with the one bedroom apartment. Not enormous, but large enough for two people and two...

Travelling with two other couples, we chose Calissano for hotel quality and proximity to downtown. Hotel was great -- good rooms, quiet, nice bar, good included breakfasts, small but adequate fitness center, helpful and friendly staff.

My friend and I decided to visit Alba for the annual truffle festival. We were able to book the hotel at the last minute for a very reasonable rate. The hotel is quite big for a small town in Italy and well maintained. Our room was quiet clean and safe. The location was perfect to attend the truffle festival, explore...

This wine and food tour visits Tuscany and later, Piedmont in the small historic town of Alba. The town is short on good accommodation, so hence the move by some producers to establish luxury accommodation in the old castles and buildings with extra charm in or near their village crus. Uncorked is founding supporter of this new, family-owned hotel on...

We stayed 3 relaxing nights. The hotel is a hidden jewel. Down an alley, off the beaten path, but within a few minutes walk to the center of Alba, The hotel offers luxurious accomodations, a friendly, helpful staff and delicious food. The decor is overwelmingly marble, leather and wood with expansive open spaces. It is immaculately clean in all areas...
