Visited this place for afternoon tea and a snack. Lovely little place by the harbour with a good selection of beer, soft drinks, teas and coffee. The cream teas are wonderful and the beer was awesome. Sandwiches were out of this world, a lot for your money and the service was top drawer. Great surroundings outdoor seating and quality service,...

Our room did not have a harbour view, but was at the side of the hotel. Nevertheless it was more than adequate with a nice modern bathroom. All were kept nicely clean during our four day...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Pier House Hotel, everything was fantastic. The helpful receptionists and the chambermaids do a first class job. The breakfasts were good as was the food in the bistro, highly recommended.

The decoration however is very out of date and could easily be made to have the 'wow factor'. The refurbished restaurant looks good although the waitresses...
