Hotel kalliste was a real gem of a find. Before booking our holiday, we spent hours trawling through sites to find a hotel on Corsica that was close enough to a beach as well as nestled in a breathtaking area. Hotel Kalliste did not disappoint! Being the first time to Corsica, we quickly learnt that renting a hire car was... More

Porto is such a charming and beautiful place. We had booked for one night and ended up staying 3 nights at this hotel. The location of the hotel is amazing with a view on the beach and surrounding mountains as well as the Genoa tower which stands guard. The staff was very friendly, the room was nice with air conditioning... More

We were really surprised about the awesome view from the balcony and the location of the hotel. The stuff at the reception spoke perfect English and was very helpful. The pool area was nice, a little bit hard to find (or maybe we were just stupid). All the furnitures in the room were pretty new but the bathroom really needs... More

Of course the hotel is old, a bit run down and not really up to a three star standard. However, the star of the show is the view, the view from the pool is nothing short of impressive, the location is ideal and the staff is super nice. The only thing you need to avoid is the disgusting breakfast.

Dated, spartan, cheapest beds ever. Great pool. WiFi. Good for a night. Cheapest online but a 1-star by U. S. standards. Far from bus stop but great location near port /beach. Most rooms have great view but ours overlooked a wall and some tools.

We have never had a better view from any balcony or in any pool around the world! The staff is extremely friendly, too. Some of the rooms are old-fashioned (rooms on the third floor - room numbers around 50 - seem to be better than the rest) but all rooms were very clean and there were new towels every day!... More

We were surprised when we arrived at the hotel. First, the town is beautiful, and hotel is very nice and has an excellent location. We had a little problem with parking, because the hotel does not have enough parking spaces for all guests. The rooms are very pleasant, the staff is very friendly. We used the internet access. Given that... More

This is pretty much a no frills place and will feel very familiar to Americans, as it has a kind of motel feel. Which is not to denigrate it. Hotel Kalliste is in an excellent and sunblessed location in Porto, and all rooms appear to have an excellent view. Ours certainly did. Also, by European standards, they are quite large.... More

We stayed a total of six nights at this hotel in Room 50 and woke each morning to the most brilliant panorama... a 240 degree view across the bay, the river, the mountains and the Genoese watch tower. The sun also sets directly across from where you can sit and watch it go down in peace. To get this view... More

From our room we had a beautiful view over the sea and the little village of Porto. The hotel is in walking distance of restaurants, the harbour and beach. Toilet and bathroom are seperated: great! People at the reception were friendly. Porto has a parking problem, so it is luxious to have a parking place that is only for hotel... More
