The untouched beauty of Pemba Eco Lodge provides the perfect escape from everything. It really is the ideal place to relax and restore while enjoying a remote beach, clear warm waters, delicious food and oodles of places to sit and watch the world go by. The staff are lovely and always accommodating. Everything was just so easy there and booking any tours were seamless with assistance from Masoud, the manager. The wifi is the restaurant is good and guests are always welcome to use the area and help themselves to free tea and coffee. The bungalows are spacious light and airy with a balcony and a sea view. The hot spicy tea delivered every morning was a lovely touch. The only sounds are those is nature. I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a lovely stay

I had a very relaxing and calm getaway in a peaceful place with beautiful surroundings which was exactly what I was looking for. My bungalow had a a nice view towards the garden and the beach, and I could spend hours just listening to the sounds of nature, reading a book (they have a small library) and watching friendly locals walking by on the beach. There are no other hotels or resorts in the vicinity so you have the beach pretty much to yourself. I appreciated the fact that it is an eco lodge and that they are e.g. using solar power and composting toilets and collecting rain water for the showers. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and every morning when I woke up there was a small thermos of local chai (tea) waiting for me on the bungalow terrace table. A beautiful, down to earth place.

If you're looking for a unique Eco Lodge, in the middle of nature, at a turquoise, crystal clear bay, with the most caring and hospitable staff we ever met, great food and beautiful, spacious and eco-friendly built rooms, using only solar power and rainwater, Pemba Lodge is the place to be! An outstanding lodge, with outstanding staff on Pemba Island, with a wonderful friendly and proud population, surrounded by the most beautiful coral reefs for diving and snorkelling! A very special thanks manager/host and his assistant Massoud and Adam, they were amazing! We hope to be back soon!

Pemba Lodge is the only accomodation on this large white sandy beach (very clean and natural, swimming only possible at high tide). Its the perfect quite place to relax. The rooms in the cabins are large and comfortable and have their own balcony. The restaurant offers nice local food. We also enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling - some of the activities offered. The staff was very friendly. As I enjoyed the time very much I prolonged my stay by another 5 days :-)
