Yes, as others have said, this is truly paradise. Small, very tranquil, beautiful. Excellent service - Mr Ali, the manager, and his staff are always doing something for you - the spiced tea on your veranda at sunrise, a coconut freshly opened so you can drink the milk, meals whenever you wish. Powdery white sands. Incredible views of the warm...

You know that moment you get, that moment you've been waiting for going on your dream holiday? Well sailing into the bay of Shamiani was that moment for me. What a treat! Pemba Lodge is the perfect secluded island destination. I spent 8 days there and could spend at least 8 more. The food was wonderful and the staff super...

We stayed at the lodge for four days. The service was excellent and friendly. Ali does a great job in keeping everything running smoothly. We borrowed the kayaks and paddles around the island - 2.5 hours of real adventure! We hope to return one day.

A small semi-boutique hotel tucked away on Shamani Island - a little island lying on the south-east coast of the much over-looked larger island of Pemba. Ali and his team make a very friendly and earnest attempt to look after their guests, and we certainly appreciated them. We had the hotel almost to ourselves, and therefore the four white beaches...

You arrive to the island by boat along a network of beautiful salt water channels. You sail through the mangroves and past the famous Baobab trees and finally arrive on one of the most beautiful beaches i have ever seen. It really feels like paradise. There is no one around except the local fisherman getting on with their daily lives....

I spent 4 days in Pemba Lodge. The place is a lost paradise. It is located on a small Island connected to Pemba Island by many shallow salt water channels. You can spend days touring between virgin mangrove area. I ran into no tourist anywhere near and only an hour kayak ride away you can run into small, most basic...

Smelly toilets.. same food everyday. The lodge needs to rethink how it operates. Even though some staff are good there is only soo much they can do. One one day I had to buy chicken and ask them to cook it for me just so we could get a different meal. Definitely won't be going back there ever again.

Dear Trishul, I understand you stayed with us last year in December on that particular time I changed management and we had some issue rise up, but now things are going great again as you noticed we get a positive comment to our guests who stay with us recently. Im sorry we did not met your expectation.
