We stayed at Les Pines hotel for a week and had two meals at the restaurant. The young pleasant wait staff understand English but don't speak English very well at all but we muddled through ok.The first night we asked the waitress for her recommendation, unfortunately it was just a plate of jambon,we had to order a bowl of salad to accompany...

We have lived in the Var for 25 (!) years and this is by far the best value for money we have ever seen. The food is delicious, the daily menu (which, I confess, we always choose) at €14 for 2 courses and €18 for 3 courses is unbelievable value and the waitresses/waiters are delightful. I can't believe that the...

Sometimes a 'spur of the moment' decision works out really well and an unplanned lunchtime meal 'Les Pins' after visiting the falls made a memorable day for us. The staff were polite and efficient and we were shown to a very nice table (spotless) in the middle of the terrace. We selected from the 'menu du jour', the food was...

We dined here one night in July. We had tried to contact them for a reservation via e-mail but they never responded. They did pick up the phone when we called and still had a table for the day after. Basically, a nice terrace and good food. We were 4 persons and 3 of us had starters. They surprised us...

We went there for a dinner without reservation. The waiter who seemed to be kind dressed the table with dirty table underclothes. Actually the waiter looked kind of stressed as we didn't looked as the standard mature French or American couple they are usually expecting I guess. Everything that was happening during the dinner looked as the amateur performance in...

We found the food excellent. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere delightfully. I had the beef which was cooked to perfection (rare) with a gastronomic butter sauce, it was wonderful. My wife had the ecrevisse which she enjoyed very much. The complementary lentil soup was a nice touch. Having come from Australia we found the prices very reasonable...

I didn't have the pleasure to stay at the hotel, but based on a local recommendation I went to the restaurant. The food is just plain poor, it is just a meal to feed you, with no care for quality. My potato piree' was out of the pack, which is not acceptable in France, for the price range of their...
