Came across this campsite last week and oh, what a lovely find! Tucked away behind some houses in the village, it is one of the most peaceful and chilled-out campsites I've ever stayed on. The owners are an English couple and Dave gave us a lovely welcome when we rolled up exhausted having been driving all day. Lots of different...

Located close to the motorway 100 miles from Cherbourg so good for an overnight stop. Booked by email - owner is English so no need to try my schoolboy French. Entrance is a bit steep and loose surface so slightly daunting with the caravan. Pitches are all grass, sloping a little but no problem. One toilet block is clean and...

only stopped at this campsite because of its proximity to main roads and it was acsi. but after visiting I would recommend this site to all. it is spotlessly clean and has nice pitches. it is definitely worth more than 2 stars.

Made a last minute booking for this campsite to enable us to watch the Tour de France. Dave was a great guy, reserved us a great pitch as we were quite late arriving due to delays at Calais. He and his wife could not be more helpful and friendly, the toilet and shower facilities are ideal, clean and hot water,...

We have just returned after a stay here of 10 days with a tent. The weather was not great but this didn't deter us. David & Vanessa welcomed us warmly and gave us a choice of pitch. The small site is well maintained and the toilet/shower/washing up block is immaculate. The showers are roomy and the water always hot. There...

Having had a lengthy vacation further south in France, we are making our way to the port of Cherbourg, savouring as many of our last moments of our holiday in our 'Beloved France'. We stayed at Camping Valee de la Selune for our last four nights, ACSI Card still in use as its still 'low season', I do know some...

We stayed here in Pontaubault having arrived at Cherbourg on the ferry. We planned to spend just one night but ended up staying two. Lovely owners, an English couple - very friendly and helpful. A small site located around a central facilities block. The facilities were good and plentiful. Also have a washing machine and drier. Local patisserie etc was...

We've just got back from our 2 weeks holiday, we stayed in one of the mobile homes. There is no need for long review here - it's very quiet, clean, well organised campsite. The owners are always looking after the place, they are very friendly. They make pizzas few times a week - very good stuff indeed! The children play...

Stopped here for a night on our way to catch ferry home. Its a nice, clean campsite. There's a nice little play area for children. Plenty of showers, all very clean. Although I wasn't too keen on the fact that the wash-up area, showers and toilets are all under the same roof. There are plenty of nice, grassy pitches. The...

We have stayed at David and Vanessa's site twice during this holiday. The other campers seem to be European. Maybe the news of this spotlessly clean site hasn't made it over the channel. The site is well kept, very clean and tidy. It was our stopover on the way to and from Brittany but this place would definitely tempt us...
