Gorgeous modern hotel. Sophisticated but not stuffy. Spectacular views from all pools, dining areas and the promenade leading to the separate but associated restaurants. 1st class entertainment. Reviews say not close to Dubrovnik but taxis were cheap, efficient and plentiful. Very reliable hotel bus and best of all, hotel water taxi straight to the City gates (small charge). Helpful concierge. Going back this summer subject to Covid conditions. Don't expect to check in quickly...they keep saying "30 mins" or "they are in your room now...." every 30 mins for about 3 hours! Best just to go look around and have a drink by the pool or on the top floor terrace while you wait. They take cards but Euros get a very approx exchange rate. They prefer local currency. Lots of going rate exchange places in Dubrovnik, one of the most beautiful cities. But don't wear flip flops - you'll break your ankle sliding on the beautiful marble street, worn smooth over centuries, and on the hundreds of steps. Wear trainers or be miserable!…
So, this is a nice place but not nice enough that personally I’d be returning. Built onto a hill side there are a lot of steps if you are in the apartments, there may be lifts somewhere but we didn’t find them so quite a trek each time from room to pool/restaurant/beach. Accommodation wise, as mentioned we in an apartment (residence I think they call them) with a Garden view, we actually managed a partial sea view but the balcony was small and with a table and four chairs on it, it was unusable (you could not sit more than two people at the furniture provided). The kitchen was well stocked and the rest of the accommodation smart and clean but was compact and had a major lack of storage space for clothes. We were here in the midst of the Covid problems and the hotel seemed to cope well, a lot of the rooms appear to have been shut down. The pools were busy and I would worry at full capacity that sun loungers would be hard to come by. The gym and kids club were very good, we ‘checked’ our children in for an adult only day out at Dubrovnik so this is a plus. As noted in other reviews, it a bit out of the way so a car would be recommended if you want to get out and about to visit and have meals out.…
My partner and I stayed at this beautiful resort as we traveled along the Adriatic coast.. we ended up prolonging our stay at the hotel as we realized we need rest and comfort with luxury treats in our month long travels. Check in and staff- AMAZING! The hotel has great spa services and everyone is super friendly. Btw, Food at the Cilantro is amazing! (Get the octopus salad!) Be careful you might spend the rest of your vacation days in this resort which almost happened to us. (We we’re flying from another part of country so we had to leave) hah. All around EXCELLENT! We were traveling in the middle of October and it was sunny and breath taking! Cheers!
We stayed for just two nights, but really liked everything: great location, spacious and luxurious room, the view, the food and - most of all - the staff, friendly but highly professional. We have had Club room, which offers Club lounge open bar service at te sea view terrace - love it!
We started our holiday in a bad way. We didn't like the room and also breakfast, the hotel seemed isolated and couldn't reach Dubrovnik easily so we were unhappy. Then we spoke with Mia, the assistant manager and everything was different. Thanks Mia you saved our holiday and we are very happy with the hotel now. Basically we got a room with front view (how was written initially in our reservation) and we had our breakfast on the top floor in the terrace. Amazing view and excellent quality of food. Really delicious. Funny waiter, a man, very funny we were happy to see him every day. The sea by the way..what can I say?!? amazing..very green, clean..I loved it. We will come back for sure! Thanks for eveything
