We had a great stay, we were almost 31 of family meet reunion, excellent service, very cooperative staff, thanks to the team of Jagjeet Mirik Mr. Amit, Mr. Chandramani, F&B team, House Keeping…not to forget Mr. Rajiv who was the first contact point while booking ….food was very delicious and good, well pampered in breakfast buffet or dinner….serving hot breads and all…rooms were clean and all, on the market and near to the lake….overall they made our stay memorable, strongly recommend for family and friends reunion and meet.
The hotel is located on the main road. Shops are easily accessible. The rooms do not offer a view of the lake. The conference room located on the first floor may turn out to be a nuisance as it was in our case. It was lent out for some 'Retailers Meet 'and the participants drank and brawled late into the night which was definitely a bad experience for family tourists. Apart from this, the overall stay was nice. The hotel has excellent staff to attend to your needs. Food.is wonderful.
Jagjeet Mirik: A very good example of a bad hotel. Was in Mirik for a couple of days. Have always heard that Jagjeet is the only good hotel in Mirik and it turned out just the opposite. We checked in and opted for an early lunch at their in-house restaurant. Ordered for some parathas, fish tikka and chicken tikka butter masala. The fish was served with a mixed pickle(the bottled one). We had to request for the mint chutney. The parathas were good but the chicken tikka butter masala was a disaster! The worst part was that the bad lunch was just the beginning to the series of disappointments! We had booked a luxury room but the bed sheets were dirty, there were cobwebs in every corner of the room and there was fungus on the ceiling! They serve only one bottle of water and the tea/coffee amenities are a complete let down. We wanted to have some tea and snacks in the evening.. half an hour after giving our orders to the room service, a bell boy knocks at our door to inform that due to a busy day and shortage of staff they could not prepare the tea and snacks! After much pursuit they sent us the tea and sandwiches. The tea was ok but the sandwiches were again… (you guessed it right) a disaster!! Next morning we went down for breakfast to be greeted by an over enthusiastic server who with much pomp informed that due to shortage of staff they will not be able to serve a-la-carte and had to settle for a dismal spread. Hotel Jagjeet- you have successfully managed to spoil our stay in Mirik! Such a disgrace!!…
One night stayed at Jagjeet Hotel, great ambience with neat & clean room with proper room service, n car parking etc recommended for all👍, especially Manager Sanjayji caring nature worth👍ups. Hope to visit more,Regards.Gomm & Family.
Food is ok, but they are fooling customers in billing and in Mineral Water. They have rub the MRP from the bottle and charging over the MRP and moreover on the MRP they are charging the GST which should not be charged.
I have visited their restaurant at least 5 times and tried a vast variety of dishes, their kawabs are excellent soft and juicy and so are the naans and gravy dishes. We love the food there. This year there was a long wait due to it being Christmas but the wait was worth it.
hotel well located on main road. rooms are good located near suvendu lake. resturant is very good, prompt service vide choice of menu. The only draw back is almirah is old pattern wood has detiorated requires change. overall stay was comfortable and enjoyed
we stayed there from 14th February to 18 th February, initially we had some some exchange of words regarding mountain/valley/lake view executive room which was not given to us but mr rajib proactively cooperated with us by shifting us into a suite. we took MAP which was absolutely full of varieties covering all most everything you want. highly satisfied with hospitality, cleanliness and cooperation. would like to draw attention for two things only that is hotel needs to upgrade a little and there should be a transparency about the rooms while booking.
