Very cool place to stay! The house is very cool and its nice to sit in the bar and chat. Dinner is excellent! They arranged good trips for us and made us feel like home. Also its fun to go see the zeepras and giraffes. I recommend it. Only downside is there is no food available during daytime.

Recently spent several days at Valley Bushveld B&B and we were treated like royalty. They organized safaris for us and even provided the best guide ever, Nico, who also helps manage the lodge. The giraffes and zebras are priceless. We never see them in our driveway here in the US Thank you! 10 stars and a highly recommend!

I stayed at the lodge from July 4-15, 2014. I cannot say anything bad about Kerneels and Vanessa and the whole experience. The lodging and food was great. We ate wild meat almost every night and it was amazing. Grace is an excellent cook. Nico is a gracious manager and a good tour guide. I took all five recommended tours...

We spent three wonderful days at the lodge and are still thrilled by this magnificent setting! Immersed in nature and surrounded by zebras, antelopes and other wild animals. It was the perfect introduction to our African adventure! A real highlight was the food: Grace is the best cook we could ever know. Kerneel promised us that we would get no...

When our daughter had a gymnastics competition scheduled for August in Uitenhage, we decided to make a family holiday of it. After some research, we decided to stay at Valley Bushveld Country Lodge. The entire experience, from booking to staying, was incredible. Kerneels and Vanessa, our hosts, bent over backwards to accommodate our family. With four children 10 and under,...

This was our second stay and like the first time, we had the most wonderful time! Everything was exceptional: the tranquility; the view; close up wild animals; the comfortable bed and warm bedding, but the food... It was certainly the best we had on our whole holiday.! It brought along much discussion among all the guests in the atmospheric lounge/dining...
