We stayed one night here and would not hesitate to return. The hosts, Juan Jose and Angeles, are every bit as welcoming as mentioned in other reviews and they bent over backwards to accommodate food allergies which was much appreciated. Food was delicious as was the wine. Rooms were spacious, airy and comfortable.

I stayed here for 2 nights recently with my wife and two friends. The owners are extremely personable and helpful. The room are basic but clean and comfortable - however our only criticism was that in temps of 30 plus the lack of any air conditioning made sleeping difficult. Although the dinner menu has no choices, the 3 courses were...

We stayed for one night as a stop-over on a motorcycle holiday to Portugal. The owners Juanjose and Angeles were great, welcoming hosts and cooked a lovely evening meal. The suite we stayed in on the first floor was very comfortable and spacious. Juanjose really promoted the local wines and produce, which we sampled with our meal and told us...

My rural stay at El Tiempo Recobrado was very good. I highly recommend it. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 on the rating is mainly that I reserve a 5 rating for over the top accommodations. But I loved the stay here. If I hadn't found this place on tripadvisor and booked it in advance I would likely have...

To arrive on a motorcycle and be told to park it in the grounds of the hotel, was a lovely welcome. Dustin Hoffman lookalike Juanjose greeted us with good English and explained where everything was and what time dinner would be. Asking if he could suggest anywhere we could get lunch he told us he would rustle something up,while we changed...

Having read TripAdvisor reviews before booking, we had an idea of what to expect and it certainly lived up to expectations. We had a comfortable suite and were treated like royalty by our hosts whose modus operandi appears to be the love of the job. The food and wines were excellent and all rooms are expertly and tastefully furnished. The...

From the minute of our arrival the gracious hosts made us welcome and comfortable. The suite had every convenience and was beautifully appointed. Meals were wonderfully prepared and presented in a charming restaurant. The lounge is sumptuously furmished, comfortable and stylish. The grounds were well maintained. A jewel!
