It's not posh or charming, but in Muscat, which is so expensive, this is probably the best budget option in the best area. My room was cheap and location is right along the corniche in a great walking area with loads of restaurants and the market, near the fish market. If you don't mind a walk, you can walk to the Palace. There is also a bus stop out front and tons of taxis about. My room had a TV and a bathroom and optional room service. I think I had to pay for breakfast, but it was good and not a lot of other things open early. Definitely recommend.
I visit Nasheem before Covid-19 closed everything. The Stuff was very nice and helpful. There was man called Sandip who was a wonderful person. He save whole trip with his exelent advice. Sandip, thank you ❤😎
Strategic position, face to cornice in the hearth of Muttrah. Basic hotel with a breakfast not too varies. We, me ad my wife, stayed twice in Naseem hotel. Arriving in Oman for 3 days in room 19. 4 beds, but noise from the street and a terrible noise from the air conditioner. The conditioners are the same, old quality, in all the rooms and also the problem remains. Twice we were at top floor, room 43. fantastic view, and quite room, for 5 nights, after visiting the Country.. Friendly staff, but the value added of Naseem hotel, is its manager: Mr Sandeep. A very special person. He is a tour operator too, so, after helping you to be more confortable in the hotel, he will give you all the suggestions for visiting the city and the Country. So helpful with me that I could use, at night, his computer in his office for my work ! Unbelievable !!! You must know that during this spring, Naseem hotel will be renewed and it'll remanin closed for one year, more or less. Sure, I'll return to Naseem hotel, it was like at home. Ivanromeo.…
Excellent staff friendly and helpful. Stayed 2 nights Sandeep Mohan operations Manager was very helpful gave us information on how to travel to Nizwa. Muscat was still open as was the souk etc. But by the time we reached Nizwa everything was closing down.
They are in the planning process of updating this hotel and so nothing is being updated in the meantime. Its old, funky, small rooms, very basic. Shower curtain falling off, no reading lights, no rug just tile floor. The location is great, it is noisy from the mosque- wow noisy. Dreadful breakfast- they really could update that in the meantime! Paltry selection and not fresh. Manager Sandeep is great and helpful. Again, location/location and its great. But very run down and basic.
