A great Pension, very well placed the is spacious own comfortable bedding , Bathroom too. The Pension has a beautiful rooftop pool , with sauna , hammam, gym . All the team is at the top smiling responds quickly to various requests. In the lobby they provide you with dates and coffee totally free. In the neighborhood there are plenty of restaurants that close very late (midnight ,2am ) as well as a convenience store open h24. The Pension provides towels for the swimming pool and steam bath. While returning from Cairo, we took a 2-night stopover at Muscat and opted to stay at the Royal Tulip, Muscat. We landed very early in the morning or very late in the night, depending on how you look at it. The hotel is about 20 minutes’ drive from the airport and the reception staff were very friendly and we were shortly shown into a sumptuous suite, with very comfortable beds, lots of luggage space, very neat and clean bathroom and all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were very helpful and efficient.
The only meal during our stay was the breakfast buffet and it was very satisfactory catering to the needs of even vegetarians like us. Everyone was very polite and always smiling and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay, though brief in this hotel and will surely come back, the next time we visit Muscat.
We can happily recommend this hotel.

We thought this hotel was centrally located in Muscat and was a good base for us as we explored Oman. The rooms were quiet and our king size bed was massive! We appreciated the kettle and mini fridge in our room. The towels were very soft and there was lots of storage space inside the room and bathroom.
The amenities at this hotel are decent with a nice rooftop pool, sauna, steam room and restaurants on site. We felt the signage could be improved because we knew the pool was on the tenth floor but still had trouble finding it and an elevator to take us there. We rented a car and they have plenty of free parking underneath which was an added bonus.
The breakfast was good and I'm sure they have something for everyone but it was nothing amazing. There are eggs to order, they alternate between pancakes and waffles and the buffet offers a good variety of arabic and western dishes. My favourite item was the preserved figs. There are signs throughout the hotel saying to get there early for breakfast so it isn't as busy but we had no issues during our stay.
The hotel is located very close to two large malls and has quite a few shops and restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful here and we felt we had a very relaxing stay.

We've stayed in Royal Tulip hotel for 7 nights and we felt like kings all through our stay. Everything was spotles. I would definitely recommend having breakfast that was a buffet style and had more choices than we were able to try. The staff was exceptionally good and doing all they can to help you with your needs, always pleasant and kind. We booked a basic room with a king size bed and it was spacious and had everything we needed, including a lot of place to put all our things an never felt crowded. The bed was comfy, pillowes as well and we didn't experience back pain whatsoever after sleeping on it. They clean rooms daily and spotlessly and that goes for everything in the hotel. Rooftop and swimming pool are amazing and food, both there and in the restaurant in really good and you can choose between traditional and western cuisine. Loaction is also great, and you have a lot of shops nearby with traditional food, sweets or places like rent a car. All in all, we had an amazing experience here and would fullheartedly recommend for a stay in Muscat.

It was one of the best hotels i have ever stayed with about 300 rooms in 9 floors, a rooftop pool ( well-kept by Mr. Emran and dear Amandeep)and a well-equipped gym open from 6 a.m. The room was spacious, facilitated properly with ready to help staff in case you needed anything. The breakfast was more than good with variety of fruit, bread, drinks, cold and warm, different cooked dishes, various dressings and Omani dates, and nuts. There is a cafe in the hotel lounge in which you can order whatever you like and the price is not that much different from cafes in the city. We ordered Omani coffee and dear Jacob(the barista) made it professionally. It is located in Alghubrah which is near to Grand Mosque, but generally for transportation, it is better to rent a car which starts from 7 omani rials a day. besides you can download Otaxi application , an internet taxi which is more affordable and cheaper than taxis around the city. i would definitely come back to Royal Tulip Muscat in case i travel to Muscat again due to its extremely helpful and smiling staffs and the generous attitude of the hotel owner.

My stay at Royal Tulip hotel was beyond expectation! I initially booked one night relatively last minute before touring Oman. The staff in the hotel were very welcoming and attentive, offering me an upgrade. The room was very spacious, clean and peaceful. The rooftop pool was also very peaceful and had stunning views. I then decided to return back to this hotel towards the end of my trip whilst I explore Muscat, the location is very good and easily to get to main attractions. After returning, I noticed many tourists that seen in tourist attractions were also staying in Royal Muscat, my guide also mentioned it’s a popular choice with tourists - with this being said it’s impressive how clean and like new the hotel and rooms are. Truly a 5* experience. Thank you to all staff for making my stay so enjoyable.

We booked three nights here at the start of our holiday. Staff were very friendly, hotel very clean, room was spacious as was the bathroom. The rooftop pool and terrace is a nice space, great views over Muscat. The pool area is quite small and gets busy in the afternoon but still a nice shaded terrace to sit and relax . We had a meal here aswell which was very good. The hotel does not serve alcohol but does serve non alcoholic beers as well as mocktails and soft drinks. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Overall a good hotel. If you book a taxi it’s better to walk 50 metre down the road and book via OTAXI app rather than in hotel as you can only book a luxury taxi from the hotel via the app which costs an awful lot more. Taxi ride to Grand Mosque less than 2 OMR. Walking distance to Avenue’s Mall.

Royal Tulip exceeds our expectation! It is a 4 star hotel but the quality of service we received and facilities are of a 5 star. First, the modern room is well furnished and got everything that we need, wide comfortable bed, good working fridge, daily coffee/tea amenities including water as well as complete toiletress. They provide daily room cleaning service though we had to refuse sometimes as we didn't really need it daily. Secondly, the gym in 9th floor which is spotless clean and obviously all new equipments is facing the city and ocean view as well as roof top swimming pool are just beyond words. And oh the Sauna, Steam, and Jacuzzi are a must try in the hotel! It is all modern and clean. Also, there is available staff monitoring everything. Third, breakfast buffet served in the Wave restaurant was a big variety. They have choices of Arabic, Indian, Continental dishes and the fruits are always fresh. Fourth, the hotel is well located and sorrounded by everything name it small shops to biggest malls of Muscat, hospitals, cafes and restaurants from wherever continent you are from. Bus stops and taxi stands are available just few steps away which makes the stay very convenient. On top of that, the staff are all nice and friendly. The housekeeping boys were very polite. Specially the staff from the restaurant Ms. Rose, Ms. Dona, Ms. Rabika and Chef grace were all nice and the waiters are observant( I forgot the names). Thanks also to the restaurant manager who was always checking on us if we need anything. Will definitely recommend the hotel to everyone!

Came over the Christmas holidays. Nice comfortable room and polite staff. Facilities like the gym and pool are clean. Breakfast was ok. Hot food was cold and sat too long like the overcooked eggs on the shakshuka. Disappointed with the Xmas Eve dinner. They lost our reservation and then couldn’t find our prepayment that they insisted we send an etransfer prior, costing us transfer fees when we could have paid at the hotel. Even though it was advertised, there was no welcome drink, no lucky draw, no Santa visit, and unlimited soft beverages were only Pepsi and 7Up, no diet. The Assistant IT manager (not sure why we talked to the IT guy. Maybe he’s assistant manager at night) did politely apologize for all the confusion. The restaurant staff didn’t seem to know there was a welcome drink or what was advertised. He said he’ll talk to the staff and claimed the draw will be at 3pm tomorrow. These are just little things but it is those little things that we considered in deciding a Xmas Eve dinner location. Overall, a lovely hotel. Just need some training or better communication between departments.

We spent 12 days in the hotel. It was very nice. Always clean rooms, delicious breakfast and helpful people. We enjoyed a lot. I can recommend you this hotel. Thank you for all the stuff also for Komal with the breakfast. The rooms are big and new, always fresh and nice smell in it. We didn't have any problem, when we asked something or extra cleaning we always got it so fast. The swimming pool also was nice and clean.
