After our supposedly prearranged booking went awry not due to any fault of the hotel, Kenyan female reception clerk Felister upgraded us to a King room.

Usman was also most helpful.

The bed was first class. Despite no top sheet. I slept like a log, waking at 0900 hours. Fortunately bfeakfast is offered until 1030 hours.

The room had a spacious wardrobe with hairdryer and even an iron and ironing board plus a room safe.

Lifts were fast.

The desk was equally spacious, and lit by a lamp.

There was a shelf on which to place a suitcase.

Curtains were fit for purpose. The aircon was quiet and most effective. Very welcome!

WiFi worked well 95 per cent of the time.

The room had double glazed glass.

The ninth floor 25 netre swimming pool was rectangular and very clean. Thanks to its walls, it was possible to stay in the shade.

A supermarket, good small bakery, laundry and excellent Steamin' Delights restauant were two minutes' walk.

The bathroom had a terrific walk-In shower. It had a rainhead.

Tea, coffee and a kettle were supplied.

I was tired when breakfasting but it was uninspiring. Only one sweet yoghurt variety in a large bowl, not individual containers. Dull room.

Room boys such as Naim and restaurant staff were polite. Most were from India.

The hotel has many guests from Italy, UK, France and surprisingly Australia but it varies by month.

If you wish a good sleep, stay here!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel prioritizes guest satisfaction above all else. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, showcasing unmatched professionalism and genuine warmth.

The rooms were impeccably clean and well-appointed, offering a perfect blend of luxury and coziness. The little touches, like thoughtful amenities and personalized service, truly set this experience apart.

What stood out the most was the top-tier customer service. Every interaction with the team was marked by attentiveness and a genuine desire to exceed expectations. They anticipated our needs before we even expressed them, which made us feel truly valued.

The location was convenient, and the hotel’s facilities, from dining options to leisure areas, were excellent. Whether it’s a business trip or a relaxing getaway, this hotel delivers on all fronts.

We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly impressed. A heartfelt thank you to the amazing team—we can’t wait to return!

New structure, spacious and spotless rooms.
The hotel has a breakfast room, Thai restaurant and a heated swimming pool on the roof.
It is not located near the center of Muscat but it is 25/30 minutes by car, taxis are 7 diramh.
The structure offers free parking in front of the structure and in front; Furthermore, in the street of the hotel and in those nearby there are many restaurants/diners where the magic is very good.

This is my grieving staycation after my loved one passed away one month ago. Staying in this hotel just make me even sadder and unwelcomed.

My arrival experience was awful. Najma the reception double checked me into do not disturb room. The key worked perfectly fine to make me feel like intruder to somebody else's room. Upon shocking experience, I caught floor supervisor Devendra that happened to pass by and seek help. Despite numerous calls from colleague, front office never pick up and made us both come all the way again to reception to exchange my key just to receive light 'sorry ya' from the same person who double checked me in. I saw 3 person on the desk and as a fellow hotelier it's clear that hotel has low occupancy, not busy, not even queue on the desk, but fatal mistake happened.

After entering my room, get more disappointed that my special request of room with view not attended. I have the same view as staying in my own flat, next building walls and somebody else's window.
The in-room technology also outdated. Despite having smart TV, it only has local TV channels with arabic language, no preinstalled Youtube, Netflix or screen mirroring. My stay get super boring without view and in room entertainment. I had better and hi-tech room in the same area for lesser room rate, so management must review the rate.

The next day breakfast made me worried about my health because the indoor restaurant has flies everywhere. Despite the season, it's weird that indoor restaurant not regularly taking precaution or pest control. They sat on the every food displayed. I stopped eating after flies sat on my hair and my plates on the table. I've shown Asad and Khun Sakrina, the chef (if I'm not mistaken) about flies sitting on the food, but I don't think we share the same worry.

I demand to see hotel manager. FO unresponsive until get attended by Alim at 8am to hear "Call back again later" and I think same Najma again at 9am that responded "No manager. Tell me what it's about."

I think management should invest in staff training more since I encountered some guest facing staffs lacking in communication skill or maybe just a language barrier. Please do market research within the compset as well to determine value of money. For a 4 star hotel, you could do better.

Choosing this hotel because it promised Thai hospitality on the social media. However my feedback via official email and instagram just simply replied by sorry without any compensation.
The only person that shown hospitality and genuinely said sorry about my experience was Devendra, the floor supervisor. He tried to help me to sort double check-in issue, really looked at me in the eye to say sorry multiple times. Make sure you reward him to whatever he did because he truly understand his job and take pride in it.

Impossibility of renewing the air in the hotel rooms other than through air conditioning. Noisy bathroom and shifted toilet seat. Room 621 is next to a service elevator, you can hear a lot of noise from the machinery. The quality of room service dishes is OK but we requested several times for breakfast or room service packages which were not honored.

I stayed for a night at Centara Hotel Muscat. The hotel has all the features expected of a four-star establishment. The rooms are pretty spacious abd all the amenities are as they should be in a four-star hotel. The rooftop pool was also a great place to relax at the end of the day.

Having said the above, there are some points to consider. The windows of the room had not been washed for a very long time from outside and having the curtains down much better than looking at the filthy windows. There also a point about bathroom. Both the washroom faucet and the shower water tap had the cold/warm indicator in reverse. If you need hot water, you have to turn the faucet in the blue direction and if you want cold, you need to turn it to red. It was a little below the standards expected of a hotel. The pressure of the water was very very good, but it didn't get very hot, just lukewarm.

Other than this, the payment at the check in was quite unusual. I indicated that I shall make the payment by card. The lady asked me to give her my card and I saw that she began entering the details of my debit card into their system. I felt absolutely uneasy about this seeing that this is unnecessary and she just put the amount in the pose and applied my card. What was the reason for her to collect card details into the hotel system. For me it was an invasion of my privacy!

Nice hotel located in a neighborhood near Muscat airport. The city being all in length, where you are you are anyway far from some points of interest. The hotel area is not really touristy. The hotel itself is superb. The rooms are very spacious, clean, very good bedding. You have a small fridge and a safe. A little seating area. Spacious and well equipped bathroom (hair dryer). the pool and roof top are very nice. Three restaurants to vary the pleasures. You can stay at the pool until 10pm which is very nice after a session in the adjacent gym. I didn't try the spa. The outdoor parking is large, but the underground parking is tiny. Breakfast very varied and for all tastes. Yeah, good. The staff whether at the front desk or throughout the hotel is absolutely adorable.

Cons: Request a room on the upper floor! I was on the 7th floor and I could hear the showers and flushes from the two floors above running down the drains. I dare not imagine if we are on the first floor with 8 floors above... It has to be all the time. Which is why you close the bathroom door and it's almost impossible to hear. The music too loud at the rooftop restaurant in the evening... Certainly it's a small daily concert, but even from my room I could hear only that. Windows that don't open at all. But otherwise everything was perfect.

Clean and modern hotel, far from the old city (about 20 minutes theoretical, which turns into two hours when there is traffic). Close enough to the airport and the grand mosque. Used as a support point on arrival and departure.
In both overnight stays (two different rooms) NEVER had hot water, and this is quite annoying. International breakfast of good quality and choice

We stayed here for 1 night after a longer trip around Oman, as the hotel was close to the airport and we had an early morning flight. We had a deluxe king, which was huge. Although we could get hot water in the shower, we couldn't get hot water in the wash hand basin. For western travellers, please note - no plug in basin and no flannel. We ate in the Thai restaurant and there was a Thai buffet night. The food was good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful

Amazing stay indeed. Room was clean and has complete amenities. I really appreciate their efforts toward sustainability. They are using a solar-powered water heater hence it took few minutes to get the shower water warm enough.

All staff were very approachable especially Surisa from the reception. She was very nice and accommodating. She even granted us an early check-in since we arrived pretty early.

The breakfast was sufficient and I enjoyed their Thai pan eggs!

Will surely return!

I have been in Dubai in 2012 and to be honest, I never felt very safe there. The men were staring at me as if I was worth nothing. I was so glad to go home again. Last February I went to Oman for 2 weeks, it is such a wonderful and beautiful country with very nice and helpful inhabitants. Food is delicious. Oman has so many beautiful places to go to, definitely worth traveling to. It is a very safe country, I felt at home right away!
