Wow! This was a fantastic experience and one I would definitely do again. And again! Ronald and Margaret are wonderful and gracious hosts. Every detail has been considered and everything is first class ...From the fresh flowers in our room to the transportation, to the choice of restaurants and wines... They taught us so much about French wines, food, and...

Surfing the web one night looking for "wine tours," my husband and I came across the web site for the "The Bordeaux Wine Experience." Because it looked like a wonderful tour--just the kind we were looking for--we immediately checked reviews on several sites, including Trip Advisor. The reviews were awesome! We then began to correspond with Margaret concerning details and...

Although we originally intended our 2015 Bordeaux Wine Experience tour to be a once in a lifetime visit, when we saw the 2016 itinerary for the Grand Cru Alumni Tour, we couldn't resist going a second time. We will return in a few years (I only hope Ron and Margaret don't retire before we can return). Again, we had the...

I read the glowing reviews posted on Trip Advisor and it seems as if you take the 5 day tour all is well. We had the 2 day tour and our experience was not positive as the 5 day tours. We went with another couple and booked 2 rooms in August of 2015 as per their website - "all accommodation...

Reviews like this honestly make me sad. Although you can never win an argument, I feel I need to give my point of view here. We organise tours based at our chateau some minutes from Bordeaux. Guest need to get here themselves. Our chateau is an easy cab ride from Bordeaux and the best thing is to grab a cab...

My partner and I had a fantastic stay on the wine weekend package. It included a bottle of sparkling wine, a self-drive visit and tastings at a chateau in Saint-Emillion, a jacuzzi bath (which unfortunately did not work) and a 3 course meal with drinks at a wonderful French restaurant just 10 minutes away from the gîte. All of this...

A great vacation for me and my family (I travel everywhere year round). Both Ronald and Margarret are wonderful hosts. They are very knowledgeable and very well known of what they are doing. Ronald also has good sense of humor which made us laugh all the time. All details were well plan for all guests. We had very delicious food...

I had the distinct pleasure of staying at Chateau Coulon Laurensac as part of a weeklong Grand Cru Bordeaux Wine experience. The accommodation is absolutely lovely and Ronald and Margaret, my host and hostess, went out of their way to make sure that every aspect of my visit was top-notch. From creating a lovely room with a view (St. Emilion);...

What a wonderful stay and wine education with the Bordeaux Wine Experience. Beautiful chateau and surroundings and the Ronald/Margaret are very gracious hosts. Ronald has a wicked since of humor to go along with his vast knowledge of the region, and of course, wine. I can't imagine a more complete wine tour of the Bordeaux region. Thanks again!

We've just come back from our first brilliant, restful and idyllic visit to Chateau Coulon Laurensac. We stayed in Gite Margaux (for two people) and it was spacious, airy, clean with a rustic but luxurious feel. We spent our days relaxing by the pool, walking in the grounds, visiting local villages, markets, bakeries, cafes, heading into Bordeaux, St Emilion and...

We went back to Chateau Coulon Laurensac this June, 2015 after our first visit five years ago. We were a bit apprehensive thinking that perhaps we would not enjoy it as much the second time around. We're pleased to say that we enjoyed it even more. Simply put, this is a fantastic vacation, especially if you enjoy good food and...
