We stayed at the end of January visiting family locally. Claire is lovely and made us feel so welcome in her gorgeous home. The Garden Suite is perfect for a family with the shared bathroom between the two bedrooms. Really liked having your own thermostat in the room so we could adjust the temperature. The view across the valley is...

Being welcomed by Claire Finley with a cup of tea in front of the fire on a wet and dark February evening was the first sign that this is a special B & B where guests are treated warmly and with care. The Old Vicarage has been restored with much attention to detail and is a delightful place to stay....

As we are expecting baby number 2 in the coming days, my wife and I planned a getaway to the Kent countryside for pre-loading some R&R over what is sure to be a hectic Christmastide this year! We sought a retreat slap-bang in the middle of the county, from which the coasts, plus Canterbury and Faversham were easily reachable. We...

This was our second, overnight, winter stay at this delightful B&B, this time in the coach house twin room; previously we had enjoyed the Church room (overlooking the pretty but macabrely named The Church of the Beheading of St John the Baptist!) We don't usually return to the same B&B (however good), as we like to spread our occasional "treats"...

What can I say? A simply fabulous stay, everything was perfect, from the friendly welcome from Nick and Claire and the lovely room, to the stunning views and delicious breakfast. Our room on the third floor - the valley suite - was gorgeous. I really enjoyed the roll top bath and nice touches, including bottled water in the room, tea,...

Probably the best B and B we`ve ever stayed at. The welcome was friendly. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Impossible to fault anything. All our needs were catered for.

Absolutely a brilliant, exceptional and idyllic place to stay. From the initial warm friendly welcome from Claire, the welcome pot of tea, the high quality of the spacious bedroom, bathroom and the lovely sitting room and garden, and the delicious and high quality breakfast, it was simply faultless. And, for dog lovers, Biscuit and Lotti, the two welcoming retrievers, are...

We made a last minute decision to book at the Old Vicarage as we were extending our stay in Kent and wanted to go on to Canterbury - great choice. This is an exceptional B&B with friendly, welcoming hosts, lovely public rooms and gardens, a spacious and comfortable bedroom/ensuite bath and delicious breakfast featuring all local products. The property is...
