We stayed for a week in "Bluebell" and really enjoyed it. The bed is huge so couldn't find hubby. Good bath sheets and dressing gowns and everything you need for a relaxing break. A mile away from the village, 20 mins walk and you could get whatever you needed. Some really good walks around too. It was freezing cold but...

The place and the accommodation exceeded our expectation and was ideal. The very best of self catering accommodation although the pub grub in the village meant we ate little at home as that was also excellent. Every detail was covered down to candles around the fireplace and your own quality dressing gowns in the wardrobe. Weather was awfull but it...

We stayed in the Courtyard Cottage for a week along with our dog. It is furnished to a good standard and is also relatively remote so if you're looking to get away from it all this is just perfect. The owner was very helpful in providing us with local places to visit and also made sure the cottage was kept...

Stayed three nights at Wolfen Mill near Chipping, Lancs. A luxurious self catering break. Very good accommodation. We chose Bluebell Studio as we felt it would be warm and cosy with a 6' bed. Set in an old stone mill building which had been renovated to a high standard, there were various styles of accommodation. High quality furnishings and fittings,...

The cottage we stayed in was really nice (Curlews Nest). Every thing you need to use for the self catering stay is provided and all of excellent quality. The cottages are in a lovely position and you have a shared lounge and decking overlooking a wonderful duck pond, very peaceful and relaxing. Lots of help and information in the room...

We booked out the entire plane for a family celebration. My Husband and I are in the seperate detached cottage which is really lovely. Everything you need, but might have forgotten, is here. It's clean, warm and cosy too. Plenty of storage in the bedroom, clean, small but perfectly formed bathroom, t.v and stereo downstairs and good Wifi connection too...

I stayed here over the weekend and I can not state how wonderful this place is. The directions to the property were easy to follow and I found it easily and from the moment you arrive there is just peace and quiet. I spent a lot of time just sat on the terrace just enjoying the peace and quiet and...

This is our second visit to this property and we will be booking again. We stay in Sultans Loft for a week and I cannot think of a single fault. The double bath and power shower are fabulous way to unwind after exploring the area. The super king bed although firm was comfortable once we had added the extra mattress...

If you're looking for wine bars and the high life then this is not the place. However, if you enjoy the outdoors, fresh air, peace and quiet and a bit of luxury thrown in then this is it. It's a 1 mile walk in to the village (take a torch if you're walking back late) which has 2 great pubs...

Yes we have great walks straight from the door at Wolfen Mill be it a hike up the fells at the back or a stroll down to the village for a coffee or a pint !! So pleased you enjoyed your stay.

If you want to complete relax and enjoy a nice rest, in the middle of a forest then this is the place for you. However the downside, the place seems untouched since 2012, the magazines need updating, the coffee is the cheapest coffee you can buy, powdered milk, no sugar. It just seems to lack some attention to detail as...

Hi Mark, So pleased your enjoying your stay at Wolfen Mill, The area is delightful and the property your staying in is lovely. We decorated this property early this year and upgraded various appliances just last year. A jazzy Smeg style American fridge for example but we do want to retain a cosy cottage feel rather than a contemporary style....
