RJL is situated in a pristine location which is very relaxing. The property is vast and well planned with comfortable accommodation options. Unfortunately the receptionist is not too friendly and accommodative. they are very rigid with their terms and conditions and exorbitant in most pricing. We visited on 6th & 7th April'22 and the Games room was full of construction debris and cement dust. We had to escalate and create a scene in order for them to come and clean the facility which was 12 hrs after our check-in. Note: do not plan to use their over head projector as they charge INR 15000 per session. the food service is very slow and the despite a variety of food none are great in taste. Also be prepared to park your car our in the sun outside their property as they do not provide any covered parking inside the property.

The place is good, don't expect luxury but serenity and peace.
They have a schedule that after 10:30 p.m. you can't order anything to eat, though room service is available.
They need to focus on vegitarian food as it wasn't that good but it was fine, had their buffet & only 1 non-veg option was there & it was brilliant.
Also they should add food services during odd hours (day & night) alongwith availability of food items mentioned in the menu.
Overall it was a great time here, enjoyed it, had a different experience.

It was good experience to spent some time near nature and calming atmosphere. Forgot all the tension for some time when u r in such a peaceful place. Food was good, staff was very co operative and sincere. Clean place well maintained. We enjoyed alot .
Only one suggestion that there must have some more playing activities for children so that parents can spend some time for their own, expect Some more swings in garden. They have only caram board for kids.
One more thing we miss hand wash area in restaurant GolGhar . They have common bathrooms behind kitchen so everybody use that area even for handwash only . They can manage a small hand wash near it to avoid entering bathrooms everytime.

Rest all good here.

As far as personal experience is concerned, my experience to stay at Ratapani is just amazing.
Deep in the jungle, on the banks of Dam Kolar, a perfect peaceful environment, & luxurious experience.
The staff was courteous & the entire property was awesome.

Just keep in mind, it is in forest area so keep calm and enjoy the nature. Delivery time of food after ordering is more than 30 min. so plan your meals accordingly.

I would have given zero stars but unfortunately such an option is not available..I would never recommend this place to anyone.. Worst experience ever.. First the place is extremely small… There is nothing much to do.. Don’t get fooled by fancy photographs uploaded on the net.. Your mobile will have no network coverage and there is no facility for wifi..The silence of the trees will bore you in an hour.. I booked a cottage stay, which was readied to get checked in by 1:30pm, but even though I arrived 2 hours late and informed them prior.. Room was not ready even by 3:30pm and had to wait for almost an hour… The cottage roof was seeping with rain water and towels were not changed of the previous guest..I ordered food at my room and the rotis which they bought was all soaked in rain water.. Hotel staff did not even have the decency to cover the food while delivering from kitchen to room… Morover there was not one to check us out at 8:30 am..Half and hour we waited when eventually somebody from hotel staff went to get the receptionist in the a room next to hotel lobby and he would rather let us leave without even doing formalities.. Heights of unprofessionalism.. Stay away from this place

A serious disappointment.
1. We stayed in the Tendu Luxury tents. The website shows the max capacity of these tents as 3 adults + 2 kids but frankly they are too small for even 2 adults and 1 kid. The capacity of the tents is exaggerated, don't fall prey to it. 2. The lighting inside the tents is highly insufficient and the dark colour of tent from inside adds to the darkness; leave aside reading a book, finding your clothes from your bag is a task in itself. There's no additional furniture or space for bags/shoes and hence we were clinged to our beds throughout. Location of switches inside the tent is another area of concern as they are extremely difficult to locate and operate.
3. Hotel management doesn't seem to have any kind of checklist for rooms (tent) as our initial room didn't have a geyser and subsequently, after shifting to new room, we found that the TV volume was not in our control.
4. Another glaring observation was that hotel management was very particular about non-smoking in hotel premises but later on it was seen that certain other VIP guests had that privilege and management didn't have any issue with them.
5. The location of the resort takes it out of network for generally all service providers (best is JIO) but the resort does not provide WiFi to customers.
6. All in all, the location, landscaping and the greenery score full marks but i was seriously let down by the management and their policies. I could not find it customer oriented and customer friendly. I don't feel motivated to go there again.

The place is good .rooms are big but cleanliness isn't maintained. The best thing is their jungle safari. The worst is their food .shamelessly they reheat and give dinner add-ons in breakfast . They can't handle their buffet dinner properly with half of things getting over within minutes and not getting replaced . For nonveg it seems the staff wanted to keep the dish only for themselves somewhere in kitchen

I have already given my detailed feedback. Cleanliness, food quality, other services needs improvement. Checkout help was missing, Room AC control was poor, Housekeeping was not regular, property has deteriorated, bath tub rainage leakage, TV channels were limited, tourists information support was poor.
