This is an excellent venue for a break. The proprietor (Dawn) is an excellent host and went out of her way to be helpful. I particularly appreciated the bakewell tart in the evening. Breakfast was excellent and the talk over it with other guests was fun. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. Couldn't fault it at all

No contest. Our stay here was so relaxing last July that we returned this May to revisit many of the local attractions. Dawn was as welcoming as usual and her food as fantastic. We pre-booked the evening meals which, if anything, were better than breakfast and better than any restaurant or hotel.. Attractions are right opposite, otherwise there was no...

Homemade cakes in our room each day were...

A lovely Warm welcome from Dawn and Danny. Our room at the front was very well appointed, in particular the bathroom with its luxurious shower. The cooked breakfast was delicious and served with home baked bread. We ate dinner on one evening which was also delicious and served by candlelight at a beautifully set dining table. Very romantic and perfectly...
