I usually like this hotel for good price / location ratio however 2 letdowns: first, I asked for the quietest possible room and they give me the noisiest right next to elevator. Second, I wanted to book a taxi to go to the airport, the person at the reception called Annie was so rude (not the first time I unfortunately have to put up with her bad manners). She started complaining to her colleague about the cold totally ignoring me, then when I reminded her of my request and whether it's a fixed price, she was so condescending and asked me if it's the first time I take a taxi in my life !!! I just left but I still find it outrageous how she is allowed to such a behaviour with clients. I would still recommend for the location and convenience to take metro line 1 but I hope they retrain their staff to answer basic needs of their clients…
Budget hotel for my business trip. It was Ok for my purpose, nothing extra but the room was clean and enough space. The bar and the restaurant was also basic, but the breakfast was good and delicious. The hotel is very good reachable by public transport.
Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. Location wise the hotel is fine. The room is very small and practically just comes with the bed, a TV and standard furniture. The bed was ok but not very comfortable. The staff was okay again. The people in the cade were helpful and polite. Breakfast was very average. Overall a just about OK stay for the price paid.
The 22 second of August we decided to kepp the passports in our room in the hotel .we left the room midday spent all day in Paris wish was our last day .the twenty third we left the hotel going to Calais to tack our ferry. We release no passports.we stoped and we looked every again and again nothing found.we want the police to fill declarations of our stolen passports. .please don’t leave your passports in the hotel !!!
I called Hotel regarding 02 Booking.com reference numbers :2248407889 and 2892351085 done for the 13 May for 02 nights .I paid the total amount of £305 for 02 room bookings for 02 nights stay including breakfast and was unable to travel to France .So I requested to amend the booking for another date or to refund one night for each room agreeing to pay 01 night no-show charge for both rooms. But IBIS Paris La Defence Esplanade customer service was horrendous and was not helpfull. They neither amended the booking date or refunded at least half of the money even I spoke directly with the Hotel reception team and with the Manager .I lost the total amount of £305 .At least I expected any fair play customer service though nothing happened. I spoke over the phone with the Manager and requested a new arrival date or at least 01 night refund for 02 rooms. But he did not help us and he was not customer oriented. Due to this unsatisfactory customer service, I will not recommend or advice any guest to book at IBIS Paris la Défense Esplanade or any other Accor group of Hotels even for 01night as you cannot trust their customer service in any difficult situation.Totally it was a very bad experience of cheating customers' money than provide a good customer service.…
Ibis is located in a very nice spot within La Defence area. La defence is mainly a business area where IBIS will definitely help anyone’s business trip with a good accommodation, comfortable, basic breakfast and room cleaning. With a value for money stay and easy booking and checking in procedures I’d say it was a good choice
Breakfast was a disaster, only sweet options, if you like to Eat sweets In the morning that is ok, but for me eggs and ham are only thing i Eat. Rooms are OK, but not very clean, no option for open Windows. Metropolitan station is very close and that is great.
Small rooms with no window that opened. No tea/coffee making facilities. Only one very flat pillow per person on the double bed. And who made the managerial decision of leaving one lone worker to man the reception, deal with check ins/out, serve at the bar, make pizzas and general customer service on the Sunday night of the Arc racing festival wants sacking. The poor lass!! The bar ran out of beer, it holds no spirits except for martini so don’t be expecting any drinks of that kind! Really really badly managed and VERY disappointing! Location wise it’s a few stops on the metro away from the centre of Paris. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all…
I cannot say anything bad about this place, only suggestion to stay here. Location perfect, metro station close. Clean, great view on the river. You get free coffee and tea in the room . There is also a fridge and safe. Staff is nice, they speak English. Breakfast is also great.. a big choice of food. Wifi free. I will be back.
Expensive for the value, hotel was clean and service ok, small bar also ok, but again was too expensive for the value... Rooms super small and not too wellcleaned. FAIL ! Better search maybe few KM's away next time!
