From the start this hotel was so bad. Beware your Uber/taxi or anything gps will not take you to hotels exact location. It was always a long walk to another hotel to be picked up by Ubers. Also, they only restock one bottle of water per day! Called front desk one day after a long day out and asked for water and they said sorry no room service after 9pm! No local store to buy water at night, everything is very far. Do not recommend, Paris was great but this hotel made my stay very uncomfortable the whole time.
Stayed here for a night, as closest to my clients: very positive surprise - as I was walking over from the "Grande Arche" easy to find, short and pleasant walk. Despite having booked only minutes ago, super-speedy and friendly check-in. Comfortable lobby area. Liked the room - no special views, and effectively rather on the small side (as I was on the "Inside" of the round building - outside facing rooms seem larger) BUT everything else was great - love the modern working / eating table combination with convenient power plugs - proper espresso machine - super-comfortable bed, effective blinds to darken room - agree with earlier comments on the quirky app - but the meals were served rapidly, of high quality, incl room service breakfast that came to the minute when ordered - check-out again super-efficient I also like the design, though it's not totally consistent as they kept some elements of the previous (Sofitel) rooms. Do not stay here if you look for old-style Paris opulence, or a romantic evening atmosphere (you are in La Defense) - but otherwise a good place to stay.…
My Uber was driving around in ever decreasing circles as we couldn't find this hotel. But then La Defense is pretty impenetrable by car so I shouldn't have been surprised. Finally made it to reception to be greeted by a lot of smiling faces and the news that my room had been upgraded. The room itself (I had no idea what it had been upgraded from) was great - big double bed, plenty of space, soft towels. I tried the TV but there were only the usual channels. It would be nice (and perhaps expected in an hotel like this) to have a smart TV so I could login to my accounts but no. I had a fantastic caesar salad for dinner via room service, although the ordering method was slightly convoluted (via an app which you needed to scroll through to find the right bit - sounds straightforward but it wasn't completely). The bed was really comfortable and no noise from outside. In the morning the shower was powerful and hot and easy to use (not always the case first go). So friendly staff, nice room, good food, and tip-top shower - that's really all you want or need from a hotel.…
Who gave this hotel 5 stars rating? Taxis don't stop at the hotel from 10 pm to 5am, because streets are closed. Elevator from the ground floor to the lobby was constantly broken, you have to take your luggage by yourself because they don't have anyone to help with luggage. 5 star hotel? Breakfast is very poor, at a 3 star hotel you will get a much better breakfast. The rooms and bathrooms are very small, not by the standards of 5 star hotels, not even close. Not clean, very dusty even in a lobby. I see, some people give a good rating to this hotel, probably they never stayed in a 5 star hotels. Avoid! Don't stay at this hotel.
We were 6 night in Nest hotel, the location was so good and the area around the hotel was calm and full of cafe and one good shopping center that we enjoyed all of that. The hotel was beautifull, calm and all receptionists are very kind. Specially Silvia who help us a lot every time we had problem. The bed and room was comftable and beautifull. Unfortunately 2 days of our trip the electric system of my room had problem! Non of the wall plug and outlets was working and i cant charge my mobile, the refrigerator isnt work, i coudnt use hair dryer or ironing!!! It was so difficult. First time They told me its weekend and our technical servises are unavailable!! The second time when again this problem happend they told me :tecnical servise went now and you should wait until morning!! I think its not good for 5star hotel that the tecnical servis isnt available all the days and and all the times! It was so hard for me and my husband to change our room in middle of our trip. The other bad point is a bout breakfast's plate. They were often dirty. I mean at first of the day are clean but during breakfast time they didnt wash them completly and every time i saw foods and little stuff in plates. Many of them was dirty. Although it were some problems but it was enjoyble and good experience in Nest hotel and i loved it.…
A little Nest at the heart of La Défense. I have been coming to this property for over a year, and each time a very good experience. The staff are warm, welcoming and always keen to support. This goes from reception, housekeeping, and room service. This is a quiet, beautiful property with very nice rooms. I would recommend anyone to go there.
This was our first stay at this hotel and have to say my expectations were well and truly exceeded. The front desk staff were not the perfunctory lot you would typically find in a five-star establishment. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out after a 2-week stay, the level of service with a rare personal touch was consistent throughout. Alban, Margaux, Justine and Clotille are the gold standard in providing a great customer experience. Our room was well-presented, spacious and provided a welcome refuge after a long day soaking up the beautiful sights of Paris. whilst the bed and duck feather pillows were really comfortable. Location wise, the hotel is a short stroll to Metro Line 1 with main attractions like Arc de Triomphe & Avenue Champs Elysees merely a few minutes away.…
La Defence area is a very well known neighborhood in Paris and you could be assured that this hotel will fulfill the most of your expectations from a memorable stay in the beautiful Paris. Attentive staffs, spacious rooms, nice location, quiet and easy access to metro station. Westfield shopping mall is just few minutes walk away.
Good hotel. Great service and big, clean and beautiful rooms. Location is great; nearby metro no 1 line so it is easy to get in the city, also nearby le 4 Temps shopping mall. If you come by car, park in Q park Michelet or Villon. Parking at the hotel is not easy to find and there are not al lot of parking places at the hotel.
We stayed already several times at this hotel. Service is good however it is not the same as when it was still Sofitel. We missed for example the presence of the responsible of the restaurant/breakfast. These were very experienced people in the past while now there is a young team with less experience. The rooms have been renovated however not completely. We had an old Bose radio (who was not working) the mattress was also not very new,... I understand it is not easy during COVID times however the cost/night is still at same level as in the past.
