Quite possibly the worst hotel EVER. Checked in at 21.45. The bar was full of builders who were so drunk they could barely string a sentence together. Went up to out room, no bathroom. Told it was a shared bathroom on the next level. We had booked and paid for a room with an en suite. Moved to a room...

At first I was not very happy with the condition of the hotel, some dirty places, and disrepair. our room was a long way from the reception/bar area and the room was "well lived in" but tidy clean with fresh cotton bedding and clean "white" towels. the shower was hot, but needed new fittings, very rusty. then I met with...

We came. We saw. We departed in less than 4 minutes. See the attached picture. Last time we trust the gaffer to book our hotel. Entrance stunk of Body Odour. One room looked like a brothel with bright red walls. The other obviously was a crime scene if we inspect the attached photos. When we explained in the nicest terms...

On arrival they had no record of the booking that we had made a month ago which was worrying as we'd been told the room would be charged to my card 48hrs before arrival (luckily it hadn't been). The advertised recently refurbished room was basic to say the least, double bed and 2 single beds. Shelves doubled as bedside tables...

Stayed there 4 times now out of necessity . First two times (separate occasions) got the same room. The room above had really sqeaky floorboards so every time someone up there moved it was very loud. Ide like to add im not a fussy person at all but I do need to sleep. Also the carpet stank. The next time...

Do not get lured in by the cheap price of the rooms. They are cheap for a reason! The hotel is used as temporary accommodation for the homeless. The rooms are incredibly basic and dirty. I wore flip flops in the shower as did not want to have bare feet. Luckily we had only booked for 1 night but had...

The room was filthy. Layers of dust and detritus under the bed and cupboard. Carpet dirty. The building appears to be a genuine Tudor one but it is now totally devoid of any character. All very run down. I regretted taking a punt on this. Should have gone for other options which were available at around £40. The sheets were...

I stayed here last night with my mother and 8 year old. We went to a wedding and needed somewhere cheap and relatively close to the venue. We expected this place to be very basic, we were prepared for this. However what we weren't prepared for was the stale smell of cigarette smoke that permeated from every corner of our...
