Mr Linesh! Did not communicate at all at the time of booking especially when asked about Safari, he said that we will arrange and when we checked in again he told us that the resort people will look into it, and all of a sudden at 3:00 pm we get a call and asked to come to reception and there, a location which is 20-30 kms far away from the resort with a phone number, with this our safari was not at all well organised. Mr Linesh is not responsible as he seem like , please please take all the infor or book online separate via JLR do not depend on this resort people.

The experience my family and I had at the Kabini lake resort was nothing short of a horrible and terrible experience. The manager Mr Linesh was very rude and discourteous and totally unfriendly. The pool table was dysfunctional and there was nothing else in terms of recreation. The rooms are below average and too small for the price they charge. The food is also below average. The worst was when they overcharged the wild life safari over 4 times the existing rates. Never going back to Kabini.

Manager is too careless and hence ruining the experience of a good place. Manager - Mr. Lenesh promised us a river boat safari and confirmed it thrice based on that we woke up at 3.45 am with our 6 year old daughter. He even said that an escort will guide our driver to the safari starting point and said he will share the persons number. However no one turned and he the manager just didn't answer our calls. Recommendation- Keep everything the manager promises in writing and do not pay anything until he fulfills what he promises.

Terrible experience at Kabini Lake View resort. I am an avid wildlife lover and have travelled to many wildlife lodges/parks across India but this was the WORST property I've ever stayed at. 1. Owner/manager is extremely dishonest; will tell all sorts of lies to sell his rooms. Was promised atleast one Jeep Safari; however what we got stuck with was a canter which as we all know is lousy for any kind of photography or even viewing; not to mention the kids screeching and screaming ruined the whole forest experience. To make matters worse, the night before the morning safari the manager completely stopped answering my calls and avoided me the minute he realised he could not get me seats on a jeep. Extremely unprofessional behaviour. Had clearly told him I would stay with him only if he was getting me a jeep. 2. For the kind of money they charge, the facilities provided are a complete rip-off. There was no running water in the taps(which needed massive strength to operate) till dad made atleast 4 complaints. When the water started it was freezing cold. Another series of complaints from our side before they took any action. 3. When dad asked for simple tea bags in the room, he was rudely told to walk to the dining area and get it (so much for room service or hospitality) 4. Food was very average with not much variety (this is usually not a problem for me but again for the price they charge it could have been far better) 5. My dad complained atleast 3-4 times that the TV was not working. Each time we were told that the staff is looking into it but NO action taken. Again not something that matters to me personally but for my parents it's a facility they like to have in their rooms. Owners probably did not want to spend on recharging their channel subscriptions or whatever I have never had a problem at any resort or property in Central India (which is a class apart), or even Ranthambore/Kaziranga for that matter. Resorts in Kabini are taking full advantage of the massive demand (due to close proximity to Bangalore) to charge ridiculous prices and offer pathetic service in return. Pls take note so that you guys don't suffer the same as we did.

This place can at best be termed a roadside motel ; Food is horrible , no variety , extremely spicy and gets ready in installments; The management I think makes money in connivance with safari ticketing agencies; The management gives you wrong information intentionally about payment methods and charges. Rooms are pathetically small and one can have even collisions if not careful .SErvice is average and needs reminders for everything; OVERALL A PLACE TO AVOID.

Lake View Resort - a golden memory to be cherished. Visited the resort from 17th to 20th Nov.22. It was a real splendid experience from all spheres. The moment we entered the arena of the resort - the environ was such that we were engulfed in peace and solitude of the nature. Tha room was very well maintained. The manager Mr. Murthy was not only helpful but also very humble. All our needs were taken care of immediately. All the staff members were equally helpful and always with a smiling face. Food was just exquisite and beyond my expectations in such a remote place. In India for last 30 yrs, I have been travelling mostly in forest and remote areas. But rarely left a place with such a heart full of good feelings.

Great location ambience and chirping birds around the resort. Good food and friendly staff... The river is just 100mtrs from the resort. Traditional Coracle ride on the river bank will give a different experience.
