Lovely quiet remote hotel with extensive gardens around the hotel. Not spectacular but relaxing. The bedrooms are fine, clean and quiet with adequate facilities but nothing exceptional. The restaurant is again acceptable but nothing is exciting.

We stayed here on our way for a two week camping holiday in France. We wanted a quiet and safe place to crash overnight as the car was packed full of stuff. This was a great find, traumatic day, put unleaded in diesel car, so travelled late to make up time. So pleased to see the hotel, very welcoming, proprietor spoke English and my dog was welcome too. Very quiet and lovely continental breakfast (6.50 euros).

On the outskirts of Montreuil-l'Argille, the interior reminded me of the hotel in Neighbours - Lassiter's. I kept expecting to see Kylie and Jason walk round the corner. The room was basic (think 1980s decor)...

So - just by chance after 9 hours of travelling my car we needed somewhere to stay, I was heading towards Lisieux but missed the turning. Well - I am very pleased that we did because this Hotel is everything you would want for a one-night stop, and indeed I would look it out for a 2-night stop again. We...

In the normal vein of the Logis de France. Family run with restaurant. Pretty local town Montreuil-l'Argille. The hotel has a garden from which the photo is taken which gives a rather false aspect of what is a father dull hotel with a gravel drive around it. Dogs are welcome but not in the garden, but under the wire on...
