The Cafe Gioia at Azuri Resorts and Spa is the perfect place for a nice breakfast on a Sunday. Pastries are fresh, coffee is nice and juices are freshly made. The staff are very friendly and service is quick. If you are looking for a quality breakfast in the North, Cafe Gioia is the go to place. Highly recommended.

A Must place to go to. From the moment we arrived we were treated well. We met Skanda from reception who checked us in showed us the hotel facilities and came to see us every day. All the staff were wonderful. Food was amazing chefs Vimal, Geraldine, Sunita & Rahul were amazing who wanted to feed you all the time and were happy to cook anything for you. Waiting staff Henna, Karisma, Bhavna, Rahul & Kevin could not do enough for us. The managers Ramesh, Vinod & Sachin made us welcome to the restaurant every Breakfast, Lunch, Tea & Dinner time. I can carry on as there are no negatives about this place.

The POSITIVES:- Overall our stay at Radisson Blu Azuri has been a good one. We stayed in a beautiful room with an ocean view, spacious bathroom and a huge tub that just invites you to soak in it! The room was clean and housekeeping staff extremely polite and helpful! As we were on an all inclusive package we ate most of our meals at the buffet, breakfast is good with lots of variety as is lunch, the salads really good. Every evening there is a different theme for dinner and all in all the food is really good! The all inclusive drinks package is pretty good with a decent variety of drinks to choose from ranging from beers and wine to local spirits and delicious cocktails and mocktails. The staff in both the restaurant and bar are exceptional, they are professional, friendly and eager to assist wherever possible, special thanks to Rahul, Selven, Dishnah and Kevin who made our time there a pleasure as did Malini, Yudish and the rest of the staff and their supervisors who's cheerful dispositions make guests feel welcome and at home. Vinay Koomar in guest relations is fabulous! THE NEGATIVES: 1. on rainy days there is not much to do at all. The TV channels are extremely limited! The hotel has no games room or sports bar so literally you are left to twiddle your thumbs in the room waiting for the rain to let up. 2. The options in the bar fridge in the room are limited to coke zero, water, a small red wine and Stella beer, nespresso capsules are provided but are payable at approximately u.s. dollars 2 per capsules so in room drinks options are not great at all! 3. Although the hotel is nice it is SO very far away from everything that it makes any trips to do some sight seeing long and tedious as well as pretty expensivein terms of taxi fare or transfers. 4. The beach is man made and Although its pretty it is definitely not a swimming beach and to enjoy a dip in the ocean you need to go out by boat to a swimming platform in the ocean which was a bit of a disappointment for us.

My husband and me came here on our honeymoon/ husband’s 30th birthday. The vibe there was INSANE! We had the staff here always enquiring about our comfort. They also got my husband a bday cake which is such a lovely gesture! 100% recommend this place!!

Excellent service. Wonderful facilities with family friendly and quiet places too. The restaurants cater for different options. The fully inclusive is very worthwhile and you get value for the money. The beach and water sports are carefully controlled for safety purposes with knowledgeable guides. The excursions from the resort are affordable and well planned. A most relaxing holiday all round

1. The staff took 2 hrs to check us in to our rooms. My 70yr old dad had was waiting to check in to his room to use the toilet and the staff took time explaining all the services instead of prioritising quickly checking him in. They did not bother to enquire if we just landed or have been on land for a while and made him wait for the antigen test which wasn’t required at all as we arrived in Mauritius the previous week. 2. Before checking in, the porters at the entrance left our bags on the pavement and not on a trolley . My parents got their bags hours after check in and my dad was exhausted by then. Their phone in the room was disconnected and he had no means to contact the reception. 3. We (family with a 3 yr old daughter) were checked into a room with a non-functioning A/C, half the switches not working, and most importantly, sharp pieces of broken trims in the mini bar cabinet which is an obvious hazard. The rooms definitely looked very dated and not maintained properly. We complained and then we were checked into another room which we later realised also did not have a working air conditioner. We spent a night hot and tired for a wedding reception at the resort the next day. The events manager tried to resolve the issue the next day. But the a/c still malfunctioned after we got back to the room. We reported this again and the reception staff also agreed that the room was too hot to stay in so she provided us with another room for the second night. At around 9.30pm, we were moved into our 3rd room which thankfully had a working AC. But it was all very stressful and inconvenient. 4. Not enough high chairs were available at the restaurant. For a family friendly place, I was shocked that there were only 2 high chairs available. 5. In the second room, the pillows and linen had the foul smell of damp which was quite off putting. 6. The pools were not clean. The pool floor and wall was slippery with moss. They were not clean as you would expect them to be for the price. 7. Some of the staff were nice but we found some at the reception were rude in their approach when resolving issues brought to their attention. The waitress came across as very judgemental when we ordered drinks for dinner. 8. We were not given towels for the pool and were told that they were out of towels but people after us were handed out towels. It felt like staff weren't providing the same service to all guests. 9. They advertise about the coffee machine in the rooms but every pod you use in the nespresso machine, you will be charged £2!! And this is apparently a four star resort!

My parents stayed here for a week for my dads 70th birthday. The staff are all extra friendly and helpful, nothing was too big for them to do. The premium ocean view room is spacious, clean and neat. The food options were varied and all delicious. They also went out of the way to mark the special occasion, thank you staff at Radisson Blu Azzuri for making their first trip to Mauritius so memorable.
