Our family of 4 stayed at the lodges for 2 nights at the end of March. The accommodation, set in beautiful landscape, had an immediately welcoming feel. The interiors were clean and fresh with stylish touches(bird cushions:-)The small decking area was an idyllic spot to gaze out at the horses and hills beyond as well as admire the most beautiful...

Hi new_review16, Thank you so much for your amazing review and for the feedback about the beds. It's such a personal preference item, so we are always trying to ensure how we can make them comfortable for everyone. The sky view from Marahau is amazing. With so little light pollution, you forget how many stars you can see. Let's hope...

We found Marahau Lodge extremely clean, well appointed with a basic kitchen and accessories, as well as perfectly groomed grounds. Our unit had a sitting area, a nice deck with seating and view of the garden and horse property beyond, along with a large bedroom and bathroom. A bonus of extra towels for the beach and a drying rack were...

Thanks Riel_Travelers for the lovely review. We really appreciate the effort to do it. It's great people use the beach towels and other things like drying racks as we know the chance to do washing isn't always easy when you are travelling. My chief maintenance officer - my husband - will be pleased you mentioned the grounds! Thanks again Joce...

We came for 1 night and stayed for a second night. Lovely units set in a large garden overlooking distant hills. Simple but tasteful decor. Comfortable beds and good internet. An added plus was the communal kitchen which was well stocked with pans and cooking equipment. We ate at Hooked down the road the first night, the setting was lovely...

A beautiful lodge, perfectly situated for the Abel Tasman track, with top quality accommodation (including excellent self catering facilities), beautiful gardens, and a relaxing, peaceful ambience. Great to see that families and children are also welcome! Our hosts, Jocelyn and Scott, were so friendly and helpful, and very knowledgeable about the whole area. We will definitely be returning.

My family and I stayed at the lodge for 2 nights over the end of summer and could not have had a nicer stay.
