We were welcomed by Bernard and Marie and shown around, given advice on the war memorials to visit, lots of local information, tea and cake, restaurant recommendations - we couldn't have asked for more. Breakfasts were excellent with home produce and excellent company. They were even tolerant of my French pronunciation (I was keen to practise - they both speak...

This place is a gem. Excellent facilities; splendid breakfasts; and the kindest and most helpful hosts you will find anywhere. Bernard and Marie welcome you with open arms and make the stay the most pleasant experience. We were in the area to visit the WW1 memorial containing the name of my wife's uncle and to pay our respects. But we...

Bernard and Marie were truly outstanding in their love for local history and making sure that our family were extremely comfortable and well fed. Our only regret was staying just one night...we will return again next year to explore the region further. Breakfast with the other guests was a highlight. Usually quiet and slow to start a day, the welcoming,...

We will definitely come here again! Nothing but good to say about Butterworth Farm! A beautiful room in a restored barn. Our family had sole use of the living room, dining room and kitchen. It was so cosy and we felt at home immediately. Our girls loved it. Marie and Bernard are the most lovely couple. Marie even baked a...

Bernard and Marie were the most welcoming hosts! We struggled to find last minute accommodation for our large family group of 9 from Dublin and London over the Oct half-term break, but they managed to accommodate grandparents in one room, 2 teenage boys in another room, and the perfect family room for the 2 adults and 3 girls. The girls...

Butterworth Farm is in an excellent location for visiting the WW1 battlefields and memorials. Bernard and Marie are excellent hosts. Marie speaks English which is much better than what she thinks it is, it was certainly better than our French. The place was spotlessly clean, the living room and kitchen area was massive and Marie had just left things in...

This B & B run by Bernard & Marie DeLattre is the ideal place to stay for a WW1 visit in Somme area. Lovely rooms, great location & the most attentive, friendly hosts. Heartily recommended. Nothing is too much trouble and their welcome is always genuine.

I have stayed with Bernard and Marie before and looked forward to staying with them again. I was not disappointed. They made my party very welcome and hosted us over our four day stay. The rooms are spotless, the hospitality genuine and it is an ideal spot for touring the battlefields of the Somme.

We stayed in this gorgeous B&B for one night. Could have stayed longer. Very relaxing. Hosts Bernard and Marie were very friendly and accommodating. Marie spoke great English and served an excellent hot cheese pie, among other things. This is a great location for visiting Beaumont Hamel. Would definitely go back there and most definitely recommend. It is very tastefully...
