We spent the Easter weekend. The place itself is really beautiful and the grounds are lovely. The room was beautiful and very comfy. Bathroom and shower very good, but stone floor was very cold. Breakfasts were really delicious. We can imagine that in the warmer weather it would be a great delight.

Our recent stay at Mile Hill Barn provided us with a homely and comfortable base for our exploration of Suffolk. The friendly owners with their local knowledge proved invaluable. The home cooked breakfast and personal flourishes supplied exceeded our expectations, leading me to highly recommend Mile Hill Barn.

The accomodation was 1st class, a comfortable room with all that we required. Wonderful room, it was a double but they made it a twin for us (very obliging and hospitable). Yummy breakfast with a good choice and variety of options. We were able to come and go as we pleased, at any time we wanted. We had a lovely time, thank you.

We had a great three days at Mill Hill Barn. Lesley welcomed us with tea and warm home-made scones. Our room was very comfortable with all amenities - lovely bathroom with great shower. There was a good selection for breakfast. Richard knew the area very well and gave useful tips on where to go and what to see.

Perfectly sited for the Heritage Coast area of Suffolk, with MINSMERE bird reserve just 10 mins away & SNAPE concert halls the same, ALDEBURGH & SOUTHWOLD easily within a 20 minute casual drive, we brought our bikes and found we didnt have to touch main roads to explore the area. Mile Hill Barn has a very large garden, if not... More

We stayed for the second time at Mile Hill Barn for the August Bank Holiday 2010. We stayed in the same room as before. As ever we received a very warm welcome - a bottle of wine left for us in our room as returning guests was a lovely gesture. The room was as ever scrupulously clean and comfortable. We... More

Great place, great location, great hosts, Dont know where the last people stayed, but we though it was great value, especially for the overall quality of the stay, make sure you visit the fantastic garden too, We stayed 3 nights for £210, which in august is good value for money. Still, it takes all sorts (all of the people, some... More
