My partner and I stayed at Pepperpot for our first weekend away. It was an ideal choice. The cottage itself is spotelessly clean, cosy and just absolutely perfect for a lovely weekend away. Its ideal for visiting places such as Chatsworth House, Carsington Water and we both thoroughly recommend it for a couple looking to spend some quality time together....

We stayed in Pepperpot cottage in May 2008, and are returning for 2 weeks in August., can't wait. The cottage is spotlessly clean, a real credit to the owners, who are the most helpful people you could wish to meet. Next door is the most old fashioned pub in England. Elton village is extremely quiet. An excellent pub about 1...

We found this accommodation at late notice, for our 1st wedding anniversary. A very polite couple own the Elton guest house and rent out 2 cottages on the same street - Pepperpot Cottage, for 2 persons, and Two Gates cottage for 4 persons. For an unbelievable price of £2.50 each per morning we had a wonderful breakfast (cereals, probiotic yoghurts,...
