We had heard good things about this pub and are very keen on Thai food. First impressions are poor. Difficult parking and lots of smokers milling around outside. We were ignored for some minutes by the waitresses and eventually directed to a small table in a minuscule dining room. Customers were waiting for takeouts and the room was packed. The... More

Stayed here for two nights as I was on a business trip to the welding institute. Ideal location for TWI, as it is a 10 minute walk. Rooms are spacious and the flat screen TV is bigger than in most peoples living rooms. We only ate once in the Three Tuns and was advised to book. My wife loves Thai... More

I love this place and have been here three times in total since finding out about it. This place definitely needs to be bigger because its always been packed out when we have gone, so i would recommend that you book in advance. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and allowed me to leave a birthday cake in their... More

Great little pub, fantastic Thai Food, we even had the the pleasure of being shown the kitchen and able to (under supervision) to cook our own lunch. Lovely friendly staff, Chris the owner should and I'm sure he is very proud. Looking forward to another visit with perhaps a stay over as the accommodation looks fantastic.

We went to The Three Tuns last night for dinner for the first time. We were really impressed with the authenticity of the Thai food. Having previously spent 6weeks in Thailand we are always a little sceptical of Thai restaurants in the UK as more often then not they do not taste as good; however, we could not fault the... More

Just returned from a faultless stay at this charming pub. Barry the manager was the perfect host. Welcoming us and ensuring we had everything we needed. The rooms are modern and spotless with free wifi. Thai food was delicious! We visited Chilford Hall for a wine tasting day which was also brilliant. Only fly in the ointment was we got... More

This very busy lovely old country village pub which offers B&B and Thai restaurant is a favourite place of ours. Its very well maintained and always lively, friendly with interesting food. Its always packed when we have visited and yet the Landlord makes us very welcome and always accommodating.

From the moment we walked in until the moment we left we were very happy. The accommodation is beautiful, modern and clean and the Thai food served in the restaurant was lovely. The staff are friendly, efficient and ensure the service is top notch. The cooked breakfast the following morning was also delicious. Overall a little gem of a place... More
