Guests have praised the Coconut Grove Beach Resort for its traditional Goan ambiance and Portuguese-themed rooms nestled amidst lush greenery. The spacious, well-maintained rooms have been appreciated, although the aging property and small pool size have been noted by some visitors. While the hotel's amenities, such as the pool and beach access, contribute to a tranquil experience, there have been calls for improvement in services like the souvenir shop.
The hotel's cleanliness and prime location close to the serene Betalbatim beach make it suitable for gatherings. The service staff receives commendations for their responsiveness, despite occasional slow service at the dining venues. Reviewers consider the resort to offer reasonable value, though the dining options could be more varied and cost-effective.

The hotel province is in very secluded serene secured place at Betalbatim beach. There's private path towards the beach to access. The buildings are very vibrant in colour and well arranged in circular manner so that the lawn garden appears to be very attractive green and cosy. The duplex buildings having wooden queen sized beds, traditional lanterns, aptly suited lampshade, sofa, wooden table chair, wooden cupboard with tea coffee arrangements, luggage wardrobe, mirror, paintings with historic significance carrying true local Goanis essence. The bathroom is very gorgeous with elegant basin and bathtub. Nice clean and tidy. The hotel restaurant is decorated with thematic lights carrying party vibes. Enjoyed Goanis cuisine very much. The 8 shaped poolside is very attractively designed with luxurious easy chairs. The pool water is crystal clear with sky blue background. Enjoyed very much with relaxed mood which kept the mind calm and refreshed. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for the total arrangement under guidance of Mr. Arun Kumar.

We came to the hotel about 9.30 in the evening, we had to wait for 30-40 minutes for our room to be ready. When we saw the room we were suprised not in the good way, cause the room weren’t clean enough, we were two adults and two kids, but just one bed was prepared to sleep on it, we asked to bring pillow, duvet and sheet, we decide to go to have quick dinner, but when we came back, no one brought anything. So we had to go to reception again to ask one more time. In the end after long time we got it. Al the time they were bringing just 3 towels and 3 bottle of water, despite the fact that there were 4 of us. I will couple of pictures of the room and bathroom. Everything is old, but the problem is not about this , the problem is extremely poor cleaning. It is maximum 3 stars hotel, definitely not 4. The breakfast is very very poor. They don’t have coffee machine to make pure coffee, just power coffee. We bought some stuff for cleaning, and made cleaning of the room and bathroom by ourselves. In the end on reception you can’t pay dollars, can’t give change in dollars, you can’t pay Apple Pay (you can pay by Apple Pay even in the cafe on the beach, but not in the hotel reception!!!) We had breakfasts in the beach cafe. The only person who works properly good in the hotel is garden man, territory looks green and nice. On the first day when we came, some tourist were drinking and chatting next to the swimming pool, then one of them by accident broke the glass, so it took 4 days to clean the floor of peace’s of glass, so we decided to not to swim there, because glass were exactly next to swimming pool, I guess it stayed there till not in the water. When we were leaving, they gave us the bill for the broken glass, but the glass was on the window next to the entrance to our room when we came to the hotel, and we told many times to guys who clean room to take it away from there. It was the last drop to our attitude to this Hotel in general! I expected absolutely different conditions of 4 stars hotel. I stayed pretty dissatisfied and disappointed.

It's our first time with a baby! If you're going here with the kids, don't! We had breakfast on - there's nothing to eat! Everything national, correspondingly spicy, is of course good, but there must be diversity! What's there - we have to beg! Fruit, sausages, omelets! Further down the service, you'll arrive and forget about many things in your life! First of all, there's no hair dryer! Second - wi fi: it is there, but works only on the hotel grounds, in the room all - rest!))))))) how many times do not go to swear uselessly! Next service: this is a favorite topic! We had 3 people in the room: just 2 each carry (water 2, shower set 1, towels 2) all) enough) save money please! You ask for cleaning, it's hard to change the laundry, on day 10, scandal! Overall anger, score 0!!!!

The hotel definitely does not qualify for 4*. We have been to South Goa 6 times in 3, 4, 5* hotels, so there is something to compare with. The rooms are old, the bathroom is in terrible condition (mold everywhere). Ants are everywhere: on the table in the restaurant, in the rooms, running along the walls, beds, tables. I had to go to the supermarket for ant repellent and fight them myself. The Internet seems to be there, but it’s not there. It connects, but doesn't even accept WhatsApp messages. There is nothing at all for breakfast. Several families from Russia were vacationing with us at the same time - everyone came for breakfast with their own cereal to feed the children. I often had breakfast on the beach at Baggies - the food there was great.

We stayed here for 5 days and literally ran out of options of good food what their restaurant can offer. We ordered Paneer Butter Masala. And I don't know what the f**k the chef sent us. Apart similar experience with dessert I.e Shahi Tukda. The same was completely tosted till it was burnt in sugar syrup. I took a bite and was unable to restrain myself and called chef. Another problem was Wifi on property is completely radio out and you have to literally go to reception area to browse basic stuff on internet. We literally spent our whole holiday watching Tv

This was not the first time I stayed in this property, so I can clearly see the difference in the way property was managed earlier and now.
Pros: Peaceful property Close to a beautiful beach Big rooms Beautifully maintained green area Cons: Slow service, it was not the case earlier The washroom needs renovation, the tub, taps, tiles, they all need to be replaced Breakfast was a huge disappointment compared to my previous stays, it felt like staff is not very well trained at the restaurant. Breakfast options were also very limited. The staff needs training on how to deal with customers and what is service industry. At night, it gets boring as restaurant is completely deserted and bar area is also empty vs earlier when it used to flock with tourists and place felt lively.

Good hotel, nice territory! Personnel is very responsive and do everything quickly.
The rooms are not new, but in general the hotel worth its money.
We stayed with my wife for a week and took breakfast and dinners. The breakfast is veg one, might have more food variety. The dinners are good ones but mostly same options that are included to the paid dinners (chicken). so we anyway order some seafood that is additionally chargeable. I suggest to use breakfast options and have dinner in different places.

We had been to this resort for our team outing. Arun who is the resort manager was very helpful right from planning for airport pickup to one day outing to dinner, karaoke and dance floor setup. The resort has a close proximity to beach and has a private path to the same. The pool is heated and is fun to swim during rains. The food is average and they have a limited variety for buffet. All in all a good experience and the team enjoyed this quite and serene location.
