It is a beautiful resort with spacious rooms, friendly staff and yummy food. The resort has private access to Colva beach and a private breach shack. The shack serves delicious sea food at a reasonable price, their tandoori pamphlet was my favourite. Colva breach is one of the cleanest and less crowded beaches in Goa and the resort gives you private access to it. Special thanks to Mark, Shenoy and Tushar for making our in dinning experience very pleasant. Overall we had a wonderful time.

1. Food at buffet was not kept covered, flies were roaming on food n as well as all around the vessels. When asked them to cover, they said it is bcoz of season. In monsoon people easily catch infection so it shud be covered without any excuses. 2. Room which we got in the name of ocean view facing, hardly had any view. Construction activity was going on outside that room so too much disturbance. When requested for room change, they showed us pool view facing which was of lesser price but refused to refund the differential amount even when they themselves told us that resort is having very less occupancy. 3. Don't know how they get the 5star resort tag when they are not worth of more than 3star. Resort is having only spa n swimming pool for activities which is not sufficient for a 5star one. 4. There were no rules or discipline for pool. People were getting inside without proper dress. 5. Not worth of 3star, but spa charges were of 7star. 6. Pillows were too huge. I couldn't sleep well even for a single night in my 3 day stay. When asked to change, they said, this is the only option 7. No bathroom slipper and laundry bag in the room was provided. 8. When we entered the room, it felt that it was not been cleaned properly for a long time. Spider webs were there on the balcony grills, beneath the chair n table. 9. Small properly with basic amenities. Cannot be considered as a resort. Very very far from the tag of 5star.

However, after reading the overall feedback, we would like to clarify as under: Initial Booking was for Ocean View As disliked by you we offered Pool View Suites. You liked Pool View suite above the lobby, hence shifted to this rooms. Against the shifting we balanced the room rent price by including a Rs. 2000/- resort credit for utilisation in your Extras Billing. And the same is utilised by Yourself. There was no construction activity in resort, it was a routine maintenance work in our other Room Corridor units. We have indoor activities with a kid’s activity room by the swimming pool. Outdoor activities for Children besides pool include, Slides, swings, see-saw. Outdoor activities like, cricket, football, volleyball, badminton. We have a rule board which is displayed by the swimming pool & resident guests sometimes tends to ignore these instructions. Room has 04 pillows in total, which is 02 sleeping pillows and 02 resting pillows. Rates are standard as per SPA services & we offered 30% discount on your service utilised. We are a small family of three with a toddler who is 1.5yrs old. We had a 4 day wonderful stay at the Sea Queen Resort & Spa. The rooms are well furnished and spacious. The staff is cordial esp Sumanta, Digambar and Dylan who took speacial care to serve with care and took care of all our requirments including sterilizing baby bottles. Speacial mention to Chef Kuldeep who catered for baby food- khicidi and poridge! We took a one meal included pacakge and the breakfast was complimentary- the buffet was a lavish spread with good variety. All in all we had a great experience- the beach is within the properties and it is clean and secluded giving privacy to families and the property swimming pool is good as well. First the good bit : It's a lovely property in a secluded part of South Goa's Colva beach with well maintained, clean rooms and public areas. The restaurant is very good and the bar is quite extensive. The pool is excellent! Staff in the restaurant, bar and front desk are extremely courteous and helpful. The property is almost on the beach and that is the best part! Now for the not so good bit : We had booked two rooms. One was something called a 'luxury suite' and the other a 'garden view room'. As far as I understand, the meaning of suite is 'a set of TWO rooms. Our online booking also mentioned it as 'a living room with a separate bedroom'. Imagine our dismay when we were given a room with a double bed, a balcony and bathroom with tub and told that that was their description of the 'luxury suite' NOT TWO ROOMS BUT ONE. The 'garden view room' ( room 401) was also not a room with a view of the garden but a balcony opening on to the public walkways and Cottages in front. We went to complain to the manager the next morning and I'm sorry to say, the gentleman was rather confrontational right from the word go. After showing him the receipt that said the luxury suite was supposed to be a living room and a separate bedroom, he climbed down somewhat and said that the misleading description was the fault of Booking.com and we should complain to Booking.com. About the other room he had no option but to agree that the so called 'garden view' room indeed had no view of the garden and therefore would be changed. Thereafter, he arranged for a shift to an actual garden view room and that was that! So, in conclusion, I would say, be careful of the room descriptions on booking sites and make sure you get what you've paid for! Would I visit Sea Queen again? We booked the Sea Queen very last minute as part of our trip to Goa and have had the warmest reception. They allowed early check in without any pre-warning and have provided the best customer service. We chose the room with pool access (directly outside pool but no pool view) which was really spacious. There's a private beach attached to the property which is cleaner and quieter in comparison to other popular beaches. There is also a bar with beach views (Sunshine bar and restaurant) which again, has the most accommodating staff. Overall we've had a wonderful stay and couldn't recommend it more.
Highlight overall was the staff - super attentive without being pushy :)

The location on Colva beach is perfect and there is a lot of greenery around the hotel . The accomodation is excellent and one should opt for a fields landscape view room . The waiting staff with Suvojit in particular , is excellent and very attentive to the needs of the guests. Food offered is great and their chef is excellent.... A piece of advice , there should be more jazz music in their play lists, especially in the dining area , it's upcoming in India and is absolutely loved by foreign tourists too ....

The stay and the food was amazing Great hospitality. I would recommend everyone to go here Great place near beach. The stafff is really helpful. Room and washroom cleaning was exceptional. One extra thing which we liked during our stay was, after every meal we've had, chef personally visited each table and asked review about the food. They maintained the food quality so well.
