6 nights here in September. Well maintained rooms which are regularly cleaned. Quiet even though it is above a bar. Great view and staff helpful and friendly. The attached cafe is excellent and a real bonus.

The standard of rooms at Erontas-Diktamo is amongst the best we have used in Crete. A large bedroom with balcony, bathroom and kitchenette. Daily cleaning is included and support from cafe owner George is very friendly. Excellent price at 40 euro per day (room only). The taverna below has a beach side cafe which serves brilliant food all day and...

We booked originally for 3 nights but extended to 5 as we found the rooms to be comfortable and clean in a wonderful location overlooking the sea in Sougia. It is important if you are making a reservation here to ensure that you book rooms 1, 2 or 3, which all have good balconies, but not room 4 which is...

We stayed a couple of nights here, the room is clean and nice, the view is beautiful! And the bar downstairs? It's the best whit such lovely people, Giorgos and Jasmina, whe became friends from the first time whe met lots of years ago. So if you want to have a drink, go to Erontas Diktamos!

A group of four (two couples) we stayed for two nights and found everything in top notch condition. €40 per room per night. High standard of fixtures & fittings. Very comfortable beds. Large furnished balcony right on the beach front. A fully equipped kitchenette - fridge/hotplate sink etc. The room was cleaned and beds made every morning, which was a...

We had breakfast here before departing for Agia Roumeli and it was by far the best breakfast we had during our 12 day stay on Crete. I think we paid about €5. There was fruit, cheese, bread, honey, yogurt, jam, cake, etc. and best of all filter coffee - in this case, real French press filter coffee! My wife had...

Nice small hotel for a couple of relaxing days in Sougia! Good position, but indeed avoid room 4 as it does not have sea view. Rooms have air conditioning and are clean and cosy. Thre is a very nice breakfast area in just in from of the seaside (but be warned that breakfast price is not included in the pric...)....

We stayed here for nine days , wanting to recharge our batteries after a hectic year. Sougia is about as small a place as you can get yet still be on the map and it took us a few days to settle into the rhythm of doing absolutely nothing all day long , but we got there in the end...

We had booked 4 nights here based on what we viewed on the website page. We left after one night. The website stated that the rooms faced onto the beach and sea. However, what was not made clear, either on the website or in communication with the owner, is that room 4 is at the back and the balcony faces...
