A beautiful residence with a great location, lovely outdoor pool and charming hosts. Since it was 37 degrees on the day of our visit, the fact it also has almost silent air con in its quaint authentic rooms was a huge bonus. Breakfast is a tasty feast and the rooms are comfortable and charming, with good modern showers. Again, a...

This delightful B and B is an old building in beautiful gardens with a pool- just the place to wind down on the journey south or actually to use as a base to visit Macon and local vineyards. That's what would make us return Helpful hosts, secure parking and local restaurants made it a good stop. Generous breakfasts shared with...

Tessa and Andre run this charming and relaxing hotel/guest house with a warm and friendly enthusiasm and amazing attention to detail. The pool is a wonderful bonus, especially after a long drive, whilst the rooms are more like suites with great character and style. Our bed was large and very comfortable (so much so we had to take the details...

I stayed with Tessy and Andre in the fall of 2010 and was so comfortable and happy there that I returned in October 2013 for another 3-day stay. I am happy to report that Le Clos de Clesse is still just as serene and comfortable, the breakfasts just as varied and delicious, and the hosts' welcome just as warm and...

Tessa and Andre are the best. You are welcomed and comfortable and will not want to leave. Make sure you take advantage of their dinner because it is better than any restaurant around. Andre should write a cookbook! The pool was a great bonus and refreshing after touring the area. We would definitely return!

Tessa and Andre made us very welcome. The heated pool was a bonus after a day touring the near by vineyards. The room was everything you could wish for and more. The village store across the road made it easy to get a cold beer. Ideal location for obtaining some of the best wine in the region.

We found Andre and Tess's beautiful b&b through Alistair sawdays French bb book and I have to say we could not fault it. From the great warm welcome to fantastic Rooms (we had 2) we had the most pleasant stay whilst on our annual family wine tour. In fact it was so good I tried to book for july 3...

This was a delightful overnight stay. Tessa and Andre made us really welcome in their very charming home, joined us at the dining table for a delicious and beautifully presented evening meal and provided an excellent breakfast next morning. We wished we could have stayed more than one night here!

In the shadow of the local church, you will find this really exquisite "chambres d'hôtes" run by André and Tessa. We stayed her for one night but will certainly return. The bed (spacious room foreseen of all confort you need) and breakfast (even better than in your wildest dreams) already set the high standard scene. Please do not forget the...

“The room in the main house is less spectacular than the 2 other rooms in the grounds (clos), but has air conditioning if its very hot, a fantastic bed and still very nice indeed. However, the others have typically very thick walls so are cool anyway. The room by the pool is simply amazing.”

“We stayed at the cottage near the swimming pool which was huge, with a massive bathroom. Our friends stayed at the cottage near the front gate and that was equally charming. I believe they only have 3 types of accommodation available, so it's never crowded.”

“For 2 persons the room in the main house is perfect. The other rooms are much more spacious and more suitable if you travel with kids.”
