Disgusting !!! Worst experience of my life. Most dirty accommodation. .... cottage was filthy ... bed sheets were dirty looking ... the duvet was torn and had cotton spilling out, there was a tv which the attendant said would not work. Layers of dust and dirt. At one point there was no water in the filthy toilet and bathroom..... after complaining they offered to change the room at 10.30pm after being there for 10 hours .... which we did not bother to as we planned to leave first thing in the morning and did not want to repack and unpack.......the whole dessert experience was a lousy one .... it was bitterly cold and raining. The food was horrible unappitising vegetarian food ... cold and tasteless and we had to wait for 20 mins before they replenished the tea container at breakfast time and then served ready made tea which had more sugar than tea in paper cups of 50 ml capacity!!!! As I could not consume it I asked for black coffee with milk separately, they said they did not serve coffee!!!! The manager did not give a damn... Don't know how much this disgusting stay cost as it was a part of an entire package we paid for to visit 5 places in rajasthan in 3 star accommodation.... this one was more like 0 stars.... After all this, while leaving had to give a tip separately to various staff members who we did not want to tip but they kept following us and asking .... when we gave a small amount they made faces and passed comments. WORST STAY OF MY LIFE

Me with my friends had an amazing time there in the tents... The tents were clean and comfortable and the tent staff was so helpful and understanding and atlast the food was like heaven with multi mouth watering dishes. I will recommend my friends and relative to stay there only.. All the best and keep rising.

I assume this is the same resort we visited as our experience does not match the other review comments. On a positive note, the manager Rasid Khan was wonderfully friendly and cheerful and paid close personal attention to our needs. Dinner was plentiful Rajistan fare and again we had attentive service from Rasid and his staff who seemed anxious to please us. The kids - especially our 7 y/o - thoroughly enjoyed the camel ride and thought the whole stay in the tent a big adventure. However we were the only guests. The camp generally was run down and amenities very basic. We had no shower, no toilet paper and no towels. Chai and milk was served from very grubby thermos flasks and we were unsure if the water offered would be ok to drink. The Sam sand dunes themselves were disappointingly strewn with rubbish and beseiged by hundreds of 'camps'. We would not repeat this visit.

Dear Mam, Thank you for taking out time to share your feedback with us. It is highly unfortunate that you had to suffer inconveniences at Camps and we have made serious note of your points. The concerned departments have been notified and steps are being taken to ensure that such incidents are not repeated in the future. And all the concerns has been rectified by Our Camp In charge during your stay. Your comments itself say that staying in camps is adventure with basic amenities. People come to Sam to stay in Camps for adventure and experience a different angle of life. We are happy that you kid had a great time with us. We thanks for your appreciation for our Manager & staff attention. We always try our best to meet the expectation of the guest. We sincerely hope that you will consider us as a possible stay option again and give us a chance to serve you better and we assure you that the next time you are here you will not find the service lacking in any way. Regards Musharaf Khan
