Myself and my friends stayed here for 1 night, the entertainment was brilliant, traditional dancing and music followed by a disco.
The food was fantastic as were the staff who couldn’t do enough to help.
We’re coming back next week with family and we are very much looking forward to it.
They also do room service breakfast and chai in the morning.
We also ate separately at our own table outside, and they will book a camel ride too since the desert is literally across the road.

Very nice experience with oasis camp. Firstly they have very affordable camp rates, then their traditional cultural programs is very entertaining. Coming to food, they provide quality snacks as well as welcome tea, in dinner you will get traditional rajsthani meal, that is way better than anywhere. Also, they arranged safari ride in very minimal charges and it is must to see. In the morning, we received very mouthwatering breakfast and also they arranged our departure from their personal cab without any cost. Overall must visit place to enjoy real jaisalmer !!!

Also, janab bhai is very helpful, he provided discount in jeep rides also complementary camel ride. Once you will reach here, every problem they will take care of.

Rs 20000 paid for 2 nights and we checked out after 1 night. Horrible rooms were shown and then we were shown into a tent which on first look looked reasonably better but then we saw the horrors unfold. The sheets had not been changed and were stained as were the pillows. The blanket was torn, stained and obviously unclean. The washroom had cobwebs with spiders dangling, a horrible looking commode and dirty black stained towels. When i spoke to person incharge he gave lame excuses that now a days no one uses our towels- they bring their own and oh we will change the blanket. When nothing happened for 2 hrs, we called MMT and then people showed up changed sheets, provided a reasonably clean blanket and tons more excuses! How does a desert camp translate to poor hygiene is beyond me. If desert camp means living in filthy conditions then why charge 10000 rs per night! We might as well sleep under the stars and use the bushes!! Horrible service by the camp and also by MMT. No refund yet for the 2nd night we did not stay. Skip this one if you are in Jaisalmer!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking time to share your experience. We sincerely regret the experience you had during your recent stay at our resort Oasis Camp Sam, Jaisalmer. We have noted your feedback about the service and have taken up the matter with all concerned. Rest assured would take all the necessary measures to ensure that there is no recurrence of the same in the future. I want to share some information about desert camping in Sam, Jaisalmer. It is the main part of the desert Thar. Sometimes the wind speed is so high because of that sometimes with the wind some little sand & with sand some little animals of sand like spiders come in tents. But Our team strives to improve upon our existing standards and guest feedback helps us immensely to measure our progress in our quest of providing luxury hospitality. We are disheartened to hear about your experience. We would request you to treat this as a one-off incident and not let it mark your overall impression of our brand. Apologies once again for the inconvenience. We do hope you give us another chance and holiday with us in the future. We won't let you down this time. Look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you back at our Resort.

First visit to Jaisalmer, our taxi driver Dinesh Bhai from airport to hotel recommended Sam Sand Dunes oasis camp Sam . A perfect evening with Camel ride on sand dunes into the sunset; hot tea and snacks afterwards. The camels and their guides were very calm and friendly. We enjoyed the dance performances around the fire and everyone dancing together afterwards, followed by dinner. My friend can’t eat spicy food, so they specially made food without chilly for her. Staff was very friendly and helpful! An evening we enjoyed thoroughly and will remember for sure. Family resort and morning time hot wate runing in wasroom very hot and sowvring
Desert Jeep safri was very execllent and great hospitality. Location is very front of the same dunes
. Thank remember to resort oasis camp resort

First when we reached to hotel, no proper sanitization, no temperature checked. When we reached hotel, room wasn't ready, staff was very non-cooperative even i took my luggage myself from one room to another room.

At night culture activity was good but they offer Alcohol and beer like drinks at night in culture activities, not sure what's need of this? People get drunk and made of fun of other persons, not really safe for woman or family not at all.

Driver was terrible who is associate with the hotel, They are looting to people, They told me 1600 rs from Jaisalmer city to camp and camp to city and asked me 800 rs from camp to Airport and airport is only 5KM from a way we are going to city. So they took extra money even Airport was in the way, they are looting they didn't negotiate single penny. The experience of driver was very bad even he was angry on me, when i told him we will give 500 rs from khaba fort to the highway and he didn't agree, I dont mind giving extra money but they are really looting to people that driver was arrogant and very rude to me. I suggest you to not go to that hotel, support was also very bad.

First Answer-

Ya so owner asked me they took 1600 rs from city to camp and camp to city, but i told them we dont want to go to city we want go to Airport directly from camp. So they took extra 800 rs. it means total they took 2400 rs from city to camp and camp to Airport, what do you think Janab khan? You didnt loot to customers??? and we didnt go to Airport from city we went to Airport from camp i told them one day before... THEY TOOK 2400 RS., Crazy they are!

Second Answer-

They took extra 800 rs from just road to Khaba fort, we agreed with driver to go to Khaba fort and Kuldhara in 1000 rs. so when we visited Khaba fort we told driver to not go to Kuldhara we will pay 500 rs. still he asked 800 rs. OMG, and he angry on me and stopped the car, look like he threatened us. 800 rs doesnt matter for us but the way that driver behaved we scared.

I really don't recommend to this camp and especially that driver. They also lying on tripadviser that they asked only 1600rs. LOL so total it was 2400+800=3200 with 5% discount LOL, this is one of the worst experience i have had.

One can just walk to dunes for a stroll. Tents were very nice and had all the essentials. The resort offers everything to keep the stay happy and eventful. A very big Thanks to the staff manager bilal ji). He is extremely courteous and very helpful. He has followed each and every request we’ve made so far. Served food was good & warm, tea/coffee or water was served as many times as you wanted. Special Thanks to resort owner Mr. Mavala bhai and for everything.

My three points:

1. I was told I would be provided Deluxe tent, but on reaching the place I was provided with swiss tent. There was no mention in the mail about the room type when booked and wasn't mentioned even after insisting. I was told, not to worry, and that i will be provided with Deluxe tent once I reach.
2. There is an extra attention to the group bookings. They were provided with best place for the cultural show and better tents. I am sure the Deluxe tent which was booked on my name was provided to them.
3. During Safari ride, Jeep drivers take u to just few kilometers in desert and ask you to pay the guys there with ATV to take you deep inside the desert. I am sure I could have taken my car to same distance, there was nothing "Safari" about it. Same was the case with camel ride. I was just taken about 500mts and was told to get down and enjoy sun rise. the camel was taken for picking more customers and to my surprise, they were taken for longer ride. When enquired, got to know that the customers had agreed to pay.

There is too much of commercialization, everywhere money is demanded. Would suggest rather go to a new property. atleastt tents will be clean.

The entrance is with the traditional style which makes the first impression.... That was make an impact to all of us. The rooms are good and the location of camp area was nearest to the desert which makes the trip little easier to view the sunset and sunrise easily. One can choose the camp and make their trip better with oasis camp.
