An interesting experience. A large lined tent with adjoining bathroom and toilet section. Large bed with seperate sitting area, air con and power points. Cannot be compared with a normal hotel room or even a normal tent! About 30 tents in our section and a dinging hall and outdoor performance area with seating, snacks and meals were served while watching the performance. This was one of many camps in the area which serve as a base for camel safari, again another interesting experience. Breakfast was an all Indian vegetarian affair with very attentive staff, eggs and toast were available as well.

Day 5 of my 15 day tour of Rajasthan. A night in the desert under canvas. Very nice canvas as it happens. Did the obligatory jeep ride in the dunes. The camel ride was thankfully more sedate. The camp was a great experience. Dinner with a dance and singing show was superb. Food was very good. Service and attention was terrific. Highly recommend the experience.

My wife and I went on a Christmas vacation to Rajasthan. The first two days were visiting Jaisalmer. We wanted to experience camping out in the desert since we had never done it before. We stayed at Camp E Khas. It was an experience we will never forget. The staff did an excellent job with making our stay comfortable and stress free. The morning wake up Masala Chai really hit the spot. And the snacks during the evening cultural show were extremely tasty and plenty. Speaking of the cultural show, the show was amazing! The dancers were beautiful in their authentic Rajasthan dress and were a delight to watch. The singing got everyone clapping along. It was a treat my wife and I will always remember. The facilities were very nice. They had colorful fabric light shades on all the night lights which made it festive outside during the evening. Our tent was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. They had a small heater in the tent which worked perfectly for keeping the tent warm since it got into the 40s over night along with staying under the covers in bed. The tent had a shower stall and a toilet & sink on the other side. They were basic but fit their purpose. If you are the kind of person who only stays in 5 Star Hotels and eats at Michellen Star restaurants then this experience isn't for you. If you are looking for an authentic Rajasthan camping experience at a wonderful camp then definitely try staying at Camp E Khas

WORST experience of my stay in a tent. We stayed for 1 night there... The facilities at the place are horrible. we were in rooms 23 & 24. only one misely small bulb hanging on the top corner, in the entire tent... most of the time we had to use our cell phone lights to look around for things. only one extension in the entire room. so, when the all-out is plugged in, you cant use it for anything else. No switch or bell to call the desk or room service. for any requirement, one has to walk out of the room to the main desk at the front entrance. NO coffee/tea supplies in the room. No refrigerator. No telephone for any kind of service. NoTV in the room. We asked twice for the wifi password, But nothing. The heater supplied, hardly worked. we slept in the cold all night. I and my wife recreated the scene from the movie "AA GALE LAG JA". (THE ONLY FUN PART) All the canvas of the tent was covered with mold from the inside. The rooms were not cleaned when we checked in. Tons of hair and other junk on the floor, from the previous guests on the floor. Lots of gaps on the bottom and sides of the tent, for people to peek inside and free excess for the mosquitos to come and go as they please and enjoy our blood. The air conditioner was just hanging from the tent, with a cheap wooden frame. No security for you or your belongings. Just one small, crooked bracket on the inside of the door. The hand wash sink was laid on a table that was wobbling and had openings on the sides of the sink. when you use the sink, water was leaking from the hose on the bottom of the sink, ao all the cold water would splash on your feet. I complained to fix this 2-3 times, but the problem wasn't resolved. No hooks to hang the towels or napkins in the bathroom. I asked for a hair dryer but was not given one. The food is of low quality and not too much of a choice. I asked for an omelet for breakfast and I was told that we don't serve eggs. and next moment, I see them serving an omelet and sunny side up to another guest. This is the Worst place to visit. NOT EVEN FOR FREE. YOUR FAMILY WILL HATE YOU FOREVER IF YOU TAKE THEM HERE. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND HARD-EARNED MONEY HERE. MUCH BETTER PLACES ELSEWHERE.

Would have never chosen these camps had it been a trip by my own or with my gang of friends. Am sure there are better camps available but was traveling with a women’s group called wow club and wonder why they chose a bad one inspite of being such an old women’s travel club. Horrible bathrooms, and even the tents— torn carpets, insects and spiders all over the bathroom in the night. The only decent thing was their cultural programme in the evening. Food is okayish and super oily.

Very bad experience. We stayed for 1 night here... The facilities at the place are horrible. Was alloted room no. 3 The lights don't work here... No charging... When I complained they said 5-10mins but since 2-3 hours the problem wasn't resolved. The jet spray don't work here. After repeated complaints no resolution. Worst place to stay in. Don't waste ur money here there are better places. The food is also not great. They have very limited options. It's not a luxury camp its a torture camp. Avoid!!!

This is located around 2 kms away from main road. Have least expectations for tents. Its like normal tent where you will provided with bed,AC(if opted), rack to place things. Toiletries provided was below average. i didn’t expect much on this area and made self arrangements before reaching, so no issues. They had arranged folk music, dance and later DJ. Provide dessert jeep and camel safari. Food quality was also good. Breakfast provided had variety. It was all into package. Staff behaviour was quiet good. They helped as in when needed. Overall a good stay for a day.

Worst experience ever. The whole setup was a con. Everything was so basic. The tents were so faded and washrooms were almost unusable. Food was horrible. The evening entertainment was terrible. Words cannot describe it. As a whole it was a terrible experience.
