Detailed Reviews
We stayed 1 night in the camp (27/12/2019). It was a mixed experience staying inside a tent. It was very cold outside, but inside the tent all the amenities were present, which make anybody comfortable.Room heaters were provided in our tent. Bathroom was nicely maintained along with facility of running hot waters. In the morning, hot waters were available only after 6.30 am. Nice programme was arranged in the evening.
Complementary camel suffari was in the package, but had to travel approximately 1.5 km by own convenience to reach there.
Non-veg foods were not available, only veg foods were served. Food quality was just OK.
Overall experience was good.

My wife and I went on a Christmas vacation to Rajasthan. The first two days were visiting Jaisalmer. We wanted to experience camping out in the desert since we had never done it before. We stayed at Camp E Khas. It was an experience we will never forget. The staff did an excellent job with making our stay comfortable and stress free. The morning wake up Masala Chai really hit the spot. And the snacks during the evening cultural show were extremely tasty and plenty. Speaking of the cultural show, the show was amazing! The dancers were beautiful in their authentic Rajasthan dress and were a delight to watch. The singing got everyone clapping along. It was a treat my wife and I will always remember. The facilities were very nice. They had colorful fabric light shades on all the night lights which made it festive outside during the evening. Our tent was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. They had a small heater in the tent which worked perfectly for keeping the tent warm since it got into the 40s over night along with staying under the covers in bed. The tent had a shower stall and a toilet & sink on the other side. They were basic but fit their purpose.
If you are the kind of person who only stays in 5 Star Hotels and eats at Michellen Star restaurants then this experience isn't for you. If you are looking for an authentic Rajasthan camping experience at a wonderful camp then definitely try staying at Camp E Khas

I celebrated first day of 2021 at Camp E Khass with my family. It is beautiful and awesome place to have quality time with family. The ambience and staff of camp e khass is friendly and very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights at the venue and enjoyed a lot. The camps were luxurious and were clean. The property is managed very well by the staff. They have traditional programme every evening along with finger licking snacks followed by amazing dinner with lot of varieties and rajasthani dishes. The whole stay and trip was mesmerising due to Camp e khass staff and their team.
Thank you for lovely stay.
Regards,
Karan

An interesting experience. A large lined tent with adjoining bathroom and toilet section. Large bed with seperate sitting area, air con and power points. Cannot be compared with a normal hotel room or even a normal tent! About 30 tents in our section and a dinging hall and outdoor performance area with seating, snacks and meals were served while watching the performance. This was one of many camps in the area which serve as a base for camel safari, again another interesting experience. Breakfast was an all Indian vegetarian affair with very attentive staff, eggs and toast were available as well.

Would have never chosen these camps had it been a trip by my own or with my gang of friends. Am sure there are better camps available but was traveling with a women’s group called wow club and wonder why they chose a bad one inspite of being such an old women’s travel club.
Horrible bathrooms, and even the tents— torn carpets, insects and spiders all over the bathroom in the night.
The only decent thing was their cultural programme in the evening.
Food is okayish and super oily.

This is located around 2 kms away from main road. Have least expectations for tents. Its like normal tent where you will provided with bed,AC(if opted), rack to place things. Toiletries provided was below average. i didn’t expect much on this area and made self arrangements before reaching, so no issues.
They had arranged folk music, dance and later DJ. Provide dessert jeep and camel safari. Food quality was also good. Breakfast provided had variety. It was all into package.
Staff behaviour was quiet good. They helped as in when needed.
Overall a good stay for a day.

We stayed here for a night. They are well staffed to attend to the guests. We found the rooms clean and uniquely interiored. The hospitality was good and also the food. The traditional folk performances were enjoyable and gave us a feel for the true Rajasthani culture.

Day 5 of my 15 day tour of Rajasthan. A night in the desert under canvas. Very nice canvas as it happens. Did the obligatory jeep ride in the dunes. The camel ride was thankfully more sedate. The camp was a great experience. Dinner with a dance and singing show was superb. Food was very good. Service and attention was terrific. Highly recommend the experience.

Probably, one of the worst holidays I could have had.
Now where should I start from
Bed and Lenin - we had asked for an extra bed so it took me 2 full hours of chasing the guy to make the bed for my child and to my horror what they did was pulled the Center table and added another small wooden plank and put the mattress on it. Now come the bed sheet- they were torn which I had to keep a blind eye to it but when I put the sheet on me I smelt some thing very weird and realised it smelled of vomit Yuck !
Food - at the time of booking we were told it is a place which has veg and non veg . On our way thought I check what is cooking for dinner so called them up and again to my horror I was told we are serving only veg food unless you make a special request we will provide you non veg so we made a special request as suggest by them to please give us Non veg which was more like dog meat them chicken. Morning when we go to the food area they are shouting at fellow guest that we cannot make omelettes for so many people as people make weird request on the kind of omelettes they want . Also the dishes, utensil were stick as if they were just rinsed out and not washed.
Folk music - a total sham loud blaring music and they are dancing on Munni Baadnam hui songs instead of folk music. We had come there for peace and quiet but until 11:30 in the night there was music from all around other campsites which was making it difficult for us to sleep.
now icing on the cake- One guy ( incharge kinds) from there is repeatedly calling my husband ever since we left that place for reasons unknown . We paid for 2 nights but were so done in one night that we left that place in one night and ran for our lives to spare us the horror of another long night.
In nutshell a horrific experience
My advice -Please please please do yourself a favour don't book over there

No the hotel jeep drop you to camel safari point and pic you also from tge same point.
And the camel safari and jeep safari both are very good experience for us.
Camel safari is not good for long journey above 1 km. It is not comfortable for long journey. For short span its good.
Camel ride and camel safari are different. Camel ride is included in the package and it starts from Camel point and ends up on Dunes at Sunset Point.
Camel safari is on extra cost and is for approximate 3 hrs and will take you into desert.
