Shama Desert Camp is exactly as advertised. It's not the best out there but doesn't disappoint.

Our entire experience was good. Check-in was seamless and reception was always responsive whenever we called. Parking is available if you're driving down.

Room's look very much like in the photos. We had booked the Superior Double Room. Rooms were Cozy and comfortable. Since we visited in December, it was quite cold already and we didn't need A/C or even the fan.

Food was decent. Dinner & Breakfast, both are buffets and spread is decent. Although the food wasn't kept hot properly so it was rather cold when you sit down to eat.

For the price, access to the Dunes and service, it's quite good and recommnded.

Good experience. Jeep safari was amazing. The cultural program and also the food was really nice. The camal safari was not good.... I personally feels that owners are greedy. They just need money. So that their priority was only to take money than satisfaction of costomers.

We had to cancel our trip due to some unforeseen reason. The cancellation was done well in advance. As per the resort policy, we are entitled to get full refund of our booking amount. It has been over 5 months, we are yet to receive out complete refund. Enormous follow up was done with booking manager Mr. Sonu. But everytime he makes promise and does not return the money.
Beware of this incidence while booking the resort.

Worst food ever tasted in my life. Worst service. The Host was very rude, he should not be in hospitality sector.
Sunset Jeep safari included in the package was latter charged. Everything is charged like food for the kids

First of all they are not clear about prices and activities and what is included, they charged us 2000 rupies for the taxi to the camp what is more than double normal price. Once there electricity was failing all the time and then they told as to pay 3000 extra rupies for the camel safari becaude we has to reach the place where the camels are and that we were not told. We decided to go back to Jaisalmer so we paid 1000 for the taxi. The bill for the stay was 3900 rupies aprox we paid in cash and by the moment no refundation. You should banned them from tripadvisor and booking! They are pirates!!

Nice Location as its little away from Main Highway, near to Sand Dunes, Staff is very Polite & Cooperative, room & tents are well clean & tidy, Cultural programs also good enough, little improvement is needed on food Options & Variety , and dinning area aesthetics.

Overall a good experience , Value for Money 👍
