Actually India is one of the places world have all season and weather..here also have desert, one of the famous attraction in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. If u have a plan to visit Jaisalmer, make sure list down the desert in Sam area's as one in your must visit places. U will not regret it...even I stay in Mehar Adventure Safari Camp only for 1 night but it's so memorable for me. The owner of this camp, Asif is too good. He will entertain u as special as guest there. There had too many camp and resort but I will promise Mehar Adventure will be the best choice for your holiday. With the location right in front of the desert. The camel pile makes you feel excited to ride it. You can ride a camel for a view at sunrise and sunset for a return of Rp5k. Dinner also provided. Room was so big with camping design and also with hot water. But as this places for relaxing so there are no television, no telephone line and the most important is no internet service..so what u can do here, just enjoy the scenery and camel riders.

When the night comes, you will be entertained by the dancer and singing culture of the Rajasthan tradition. I also dance with them around the fire before the show end. It will be most entertaining times there. Another activities u can do is night safari tour with jeep in the desert. For more info, please check their website.

I don't know where to start. It was as part of an industrial visit to Rajasthan that I accompanied 99 students along with four of my colleagues to Sam sand dunes. Our accommodation was arranged at Meher Adventure Safari Camps. It was my first time to Rajasthan and also to a desert.

The experience began with a camel ride to the sunset point. After we watched the sun set over the horizon, we returned to the camp to complete the check-in process which was very smooth. Later in the evening there was a cultural extravaganza in store for us. It included traditional Rajasthan song and dance performances. The owner, Mr. Meher also gave a narration on the history and culture of Rajasthan which was quite intriguing.

Dinner was also a traditional fare which included gatte ki sabzi and dal baati churma. The food was good. The best part of the stay was the experience of staying in a tent. The tent had provision for a double bed and also had a bathroom with with running water and wc facility.

We left the next morning after a wholesome breakfast. Overall the experience was unique and very good. I recommend this place to all

This is the worst and pathetic tent stay . The tents are highly unhygienic, unclean. The food quality is worst. They have provided us the tent which did not have locking system. The door of tent had gaps . They were supposed to provide us new tents but provided old tents. The dinning area is highly unhygienic and worst to seat. Pls do not book these tents.

We had great expectations of enjoying a night out in the camp ! This turned out to be a disaster. The camp site was closed when we arrived and the driver had to summon the guy to open the gate for us to enter. The camp allotted to us was absolutely shabby, the durry threadbare and the most obnoxious sight was the toilet bowl which was not flushed after the previous occupant had left. This was pointed out to the caretaker who did not bat an eyelid and never even offered to have the toilet cleaned. Finally we cleaned the toilet ourself. The dining hall and furnishing was shabby and linen full of food stains and therefore stinking. The staff themselves were smelling and this was highly objectionable but as we were stranded in a desolate place, we were perforce to spend the night and waiting for the morning to depart from the place. To make matters worse, we were the only occupant in the entire camp, and this itself was scary. Would not recommend stay at this place at any cost.

We visited here on 29th Dec 2017 for a desert camp experience. The camp staff is rude and not ready to help or provide you with any service. Bedsheets were torn, tents and cottages both were smelling like never cleaned. Blankets were stinking. I would again say no to this place. Please think before you decide to go here.
No hot water except at 07 AM in the morning.
We checked in at 05 PM AND checked out at 07 PM on the same date.

We made a good choice of this camp stay. We had asked for a city tour and pick-up and got a good Scorpio with a good driver. the driver took us to the major points in Jaisalmer and in the evening to camp site. We were welcomed with traditional tilak, aarti thali and dhools. We were asked to choose the tents we needed. The tents were clean, spacious and as shown in the photos. The wahroom of the tents was also good. In the evening we had beautiful campfire with traditional folks dance, song, fire show, dance on glass pieces, on nails, dance with pots on head and others. Later Mr. Akram informed us about the history of Rajasthan, of the major divisions and many stories giving us details of the places. We had DJ also to play songs for people to join the dance floor. We also had great snacks, dinner and breakfast.

In the morning we went for sunrise by walk as our camp was just at the sand dunes, had camel ride and jeep safari all included in the costing, so no extra penny to spend. We also had drop facility as well. It was also kind of Mr.Asif to arrange for our personal drop by him, cloak room for during the extra time gap to take our train, regular inquiry about any service needed by us.

overall, the best part of out trip was this place.
