The owners of this hotel went above and beyond for us during our stay. We only arrived for a one night stay, the place was lovely and warm, we had everything we needed and the hot tub was GREAT. Come the next morning when we were scheduled to leave, it had snowed 15-20 inches and the town had been avalanched...

The cabin was well equipped and warm. The hot tub was also really good, was lovely coming back after a busy day and relaxing in this. The shower is a bit small, but other than that everything was really nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay here.

The cabin was cozy and warm when we arrived. This was welcomed since it was so cold outside. The kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to share a nice family meal. The hot tub was fun to star gaze from.

Brimnes Cabins was a great base to explore the north of Iceland from. The hot tub was wonderful! brilliantly sheltered from the January winds. It's a shame there isn't a fixed hob in the kitchen. But a great place nonetheless! The views over the lake to the mountains are incredible.

a very good place to stay in the winter... no matter what kind of weather, how cold outside, the hot spring outside the cabin makes you just feel so wonderful and comfortable.... enjoy the hot spring with a glass of beer...

The cabins are comfortable and well equipped. They are in the centre of town and not as isolated or remote as I expected but this isn't too much of a problem but you do need to cover up going to and from the hot tub. Once in the hot tub you are fairly secluded, you need to fill the tub...

Book a cabin at hotel Brimnes. The 2 bedroom cabin was cute and reasonably private. The outdoor spa is a nice place to look at the snow caped mountains. Olafsfjordur is a small town and there isn't much there so you will have to go to the next town for better selevction, particularly during winter when most things are closed....

Excellent location with beautiful view in the fjords, the cabin had everything we needed! The hot tub was very clean and easy to use and we spent most of the night in the tub! I would definitely recommend staying here. Be careful with the step on the front porch - it is very easy to stub your toe and there...
