Lovely Hotel with excellent view of the lake, a little hard to find as you think your climbing forever but well worth it. Room was good & staff very friendly. Has a small shop in hotel to cater for basics. Plenty of parking outside, not secure but I had no worries leaving my motorbike there as its very peaceful.

After all the reviews I must admit I don't share the common opinion. I've arrived to the hotel based on the wonderful recommendations I've read here only to be disappointed with the standard of the rooms. I was so puzzled that I went to check the other rooms with the house keeper when she was cleaning, only to find that...

Wow it was scary getting up there with all those curvy roads. Even my husband was like where on earth are we going. But it had such great reviews I had to try it being a foodie. Well luckily I was pleasantly surprised when we got there. The view and the room wow. The room was newly renovated (smelling of...

The other reviews of this hotel all do it justice. The family who run the hotel are fantastic, the food is home-cooking, the hotel is the centre of the the village, so you get to see the local life unfold around you. Rooms are big and clean. But I admit that I had interpreted from the Tripadvisor site photos that...

We spent a couple days being treated like kings by the Torchiana Family, the owners of the hotel. The accomodations were wonderful, and the food (prepared by Lucia Torchiana herself) was out of this world. This is the gathering spot for the local village, where you will meet authentic Italians at their best. We will definitely be returning again. Caio!

We found this place on a french guide (Le Routard) and we were indeed very happy! We did a long weekend (5 days) on the Como Lake and we chose this place as a base to visit the whole region around Lake Como. It is situated in the middle between Como and Bellagio above Como Lake and so we could...
