We are frequent traveller of corbett and stayed many resort in corbett before but mostly in garjia area. This time we decided to stay in this resort. I must say it was a nice decision. The road which leads to this resort is like a safari route it goes through a forest area which is really very excited and you can see many animals including tiger if you are lucky. After reaching the resort we were welcomed properly and guided to the rooms allocated to us. Resort is very well maintained lush green and surrounded by lot of mango and leechee tree. Very nice people are there. In the evening during evening tea we were discussing something about the road and forest Mr. Kuber dani who is Manager of the resort came to meet us and informed us about the village history. He is very polite, friendly and top of that very experienced. We loved the food everytime. Resort chef palwal is also very good and always ready to cook anything if you required. Must Visit …

We stayed in iris resort for 2 nights and enjoyed fullest. Its green and pollution free place inside the forest. Yummy food with good service. Good spacious room and staff is really very familiar. We went for nature walk and found its very enjoyable and informative. Evenings are great start from hi tea to film on corbett followed by singing. Overall, good resort to stay with family.

Excellent and very peaceful ambience. There is a small stream 500m outside the resort where mornings or evenings can be spent. The resort is lighted with lights and bon fire in the evening and has live karoke by professional singer. I found the food excellent. It was a great experience.

A very well maintained and lovely resort situated in the buffer zone of Jim Corbett park near Dhikuli. The room that we stayed in was a suite with a bedroom and a hall and 2 bathrooms. The room is huge with a full sized double bed and hall had a sofa cum bed. Main Bathroom was big and the other bathroom was just a washroom. A very surprising new thing was the fireplace....it was electric yet gave the look of an authentic fireplace with instant heating. The staff is helpful and very polite. Food was truly the highlight of the resort, with every dish at the buffet worth a special mention. Indeed, the Chef has to be complimented for the delicious fare that is served at every meal. The dining staff also goes out of the way to ensure that all guests needs are taken care of with a smile. There is plenty of activity to keep children occupied like badminton, Table tennis, carrom, pool table, and the resort itself is full of very well maintained greenery all around, giving one the feeling of being in a garden. Pool is large enough for some fun swimming. The only drawback is the approach road, if coming by own car then drive very slowly as the last kilometre to the resort is patchy and rough. Since one is anyway going to enjoy safari, consider this a sample. Google maps might be unreliable if you have vodafone or airtel, so be well versed with the layout beforehand. Its not very difficult to reach as there are villages along the way. A good experience and worth the journey.…

We have gone to IRIS 5 times till now. The people in the resort are great. Food is awesome, rooms are great, kids play area is also very well maintained. Live singing by Mr. Rana is amazing and the separate bon fire for tables makes it comfortable to enjoy the evening. Do take the morning / evening walk which is complementary.

We have just returned from this property. We were 6 friends & we spend 2 nights & 3 days at this resort. Right from the moment I call iris staff for our query for booking till our departure staff was very helpful .They always serve there customers with smile. Location of resort is good, rooms are very nice, gardens are good & above all food in resort was great. We stayed in TIGER SUITS & Hotel staff was so nice that they upgraded our leopard suits to tiger room. In evening they play in documentary & one Sunday night we have a nice live singing programe. Bonfire was available on both the days & it was really fun.I tried swimming but it was cold due to nov .In a nutshell I shall thank iris people for making our stay a memorable one.I shall highly recommend this place to everybody. Still the only scope for perfection is ..they must try to provide customers with moisturizers & tooth paste kit too along with sleepers& shampoo & body wash .Yes & the only thing was that garden fountain was not functional most of the time i think it may have been nice if fountain was working .In all once again thanks iris for this lovely holiday. Corbett Wild Iris Spa & Resort is an incredibly quiet, peaceful, and a verdurous 4-star resort situated in a small village called Kiari, Ramnagar, in the Sitabani zone of Jim Corbett National Park. The resort has around forty-three rooms and suites. Starting from the basic category are individual cottage rooms, then duplex Leopard rooms, followed by the Tiger Suites, and at the top-end, the Tusker Suites. The property is lush green with huge lawns, small swimming pool, a spa, indoor games play area, a conference room, and a restaurant. The Tusker Suites are big rooms with particularly good ceiling height, and they even have electric (faux fireplace) to keep the room warm during the chilly winters. Tusker Suites are very spacious and roomy and is an excellent choice for those who go in large groups as all of them can sit in one room and chat. Tusker Suites also have a sofa-cum-bed and even an extra toilet. The upkeep of these rooms is okay-ish. I wish they had maintained them well as they can easily qualify as 5-star quality if they are well-maintained. I hope the management will take note of my suggestion and spend on the renovation and maintenance. Though, the staff of this resort is extremely hard working and try their best to keep you smiling. I can say that the good service of the staff is compensating the lack of upkeep. I would like to recommend the following members of the housekeeping: Ms Asha ji and Gaurav. Gardeners Lakshminarayan and Vinod Rawat do a fantastic job of maintaining the lawns, vegetation, hedges, trees, and the wonderful plants with fragrant flowers. On a hot sunny day, their arduous work keeps the property cool and soothing to the eye. We had done the booking through Mr Vikram Sharma (Sales). He is a honest man who will patiently answer your hundred questions and will provide you all the true information without spicing it up. His team at the reception which consists of Manoj, Joshi ji, Dheeraj is also very warm and helpful. What I also liked about all of them was that they will share all the contacts and information about the third-party vendors like the Safari booking, Adventure Sports like Paramotoring, etc., without charging their commissions. Such honesty and clean dealing are rare in the hospitality business these days. Besides all these, if you further ask me why I would want to stay at Corbett Wild Iris Spa & Resort again, I will give you three more reasons: 1. Mr. Amar Rana (Singer & Guide) 2. Chefs (Mahesh, Dharmendra, and the team) 3. Restaurant Staff (Harish, Puran, Lalit, Manoj, Jitendra Bisht, and Vijay Negi) Mr Amar Rana is the soul of this resort. During the daytime, Mr Rana wears the hat of a guide who takes you for a walk around the village and the pristine riverside. And in the evening, he transforms into a fantastic entertainer. He is an unbelievably fantastic singer. You close your eyes while he is singing and you will feel that Kishore Da, Mukesh, and Kumar Sanu are giving you a live performance. He sings so soulfully. He is a very friendly person with whom you can have long chats. Since he is a local he knows a lot about the place. You can talk to him, and he will tell you interesting stories about leopards, tigers, and elephants. A very down to earth person he is. Without him, the evenings at Corbett Wild Iris would be boring. After you drink to the melodious voice of Mr Rana, you can rush to the restaurant to savour the lovely meals at the restaurant. Besides the usual fare, we were surprised to get even Gujarati-style khichdi and buttermilk. The buffet consists of 6-7 main dishes, but they are all delicious. We loved the Kumaoni raita, Kashmiri Dum Aloo, Omelette, Noodles, Idlis & Dosas, Aloo Poori, Pudding, and Chicken & Fish preparations. But the most unforgettable of it all were the Indian breads. We have never had such delicious tandoori rotis, naans, and garlic naans in our life. I could eat all the rotis all by themselves without a sabzi or daal. I actually looked forward to the rotis and naans which Mahesh the chef made. We will never forget it. When delicious food is served with a smile and with so much love, what else does a guest need. We have stayed and dined at the best star hotels in the country, but the way the restaurant staff served, was unbelievable. We observed the crankiest, and the most demanding of the guests (we ain’t cranky, but we are very particular about taste, hygiene, and service) at the restaurant, but we failed to see a smirk on the face of the names which I have mentioned above. Maybe because they all come from small villages, and the since the hospitality of the villages is unparalleled, these guys are simply outstanding. Luxury and style are good, but what makes a hotel and restaurant positively memorable are the humans that serve us, run the day-to-day business, and manage the property. Corbett Wild Iris Spa and Resort we will remember for the wonderful people who work there. Important Information: Currently, November 2022, if you are driving from Delhi to Jim Corbett, a long stretch of road from Moradabad-Kashipur highway is terribly riddled with big and deep Mars like potholes. It’s a nightmare to drive a sedan and hatchback on these dusty roads. During the night-time everyone including private cars and trucks drive with blinding high beams on. So, avoid driving on this route during the night-time. Those having backaches and back problems must wear their waistbands and cushion them from the jerks. Before driving down, keep your vehicle in top shape as you do not want to be in a situation where your vehicle breaks down in the forest area. The 6 kms stretch from the main road to deep inside the forest area where Corbett Wild Iris Spa & Resort is located is a pure forest area with bumpy roads. But it is a beautiful drive. Even during the daytime, you can see wild animals close to your vehicle. We spotted foxes and deer in the afternoon. Elephants also roam these forests. But seriously beware!!! Do not stop your vehicle and step out as it is an actual forest area where leopards hunt. And you will not even notice a leopard if its lurking on a branch right above your head. So do not resort to any stupid monkey business anywhere in Jim Corbett Forest area. Especially for the North-Indian guys who have a habit of drinking in the open and doing daredevilry. Do not peek out of the sunroofs too. Please respect nature and wilderness, as, it is a rare, premium commodity. We have already destroyed nature and wild animals. Let us take good care of whatever is left to protect and care. So please do not create any nuisance and do not put yourself in danger. Do not litter the forest and the beautiful riverside which is just 300 mtrs from the resort. Visit riverside only during proper daytime as it is frequented by wiild aniimals in early mornings and evenings. We spotted foxes and an animal which looked like a wild dog at the riverside during pesk afternoon. Please, please, please do not litter this lovely river with garbage and tetra packs and bottles of any kind. Since wild animals including leopard and wild elephants visit this watering hole, do not hang around for long, nor treat it as a picnic spot.…
