We spent a few nights here and found that everything lived up to the 5-star rating which it enjoys - with the possible exception of the temperamental hot water system. The farm is quite remote so it would not suit those travelling either on foot or by public transport. The house is tastefully furnished throughout and the breakfasts were very... More

Stayed two nights in one of the pods over bank holiday. Fantastic. Immaculately clean, gorgeous surroundings and the owner is lovely. Beautiful pub/restaurant 10 minutes down the road, ideal for lovers of the outdoors and perfect for commuting to York, Scarborough, Whitby and Bridlington. Very highly recommended we'll definitely be staying again.

We booked Greenwick Farm on a bit of an impulse and very last minute a week or so ago, a couple of rooms for 3 of us - and Fran couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming, both in her emails and when we met her late on the Friday evening. Greenwick Farm is beautiful and it's setting is just... More

These are such a lovely place to stay. They are more lodges than pods. They have two single beds, a gorgeous shower & toilet area and an area to prepare food and wash dishes. It was my friends birthday on the day that we arrived and having asked Fran previously she very kindly arranged for some fizz to be in... More

We visited Greenwick Farm garden recently, which was open for the National Garden Scheme on their open day on 23rd August. National Garden Scheme raises money for nursing and caring charities: Macmillan, Marie Curie, Hospice UK, Carer's Trust and many more including Parkinson's this year. We did not stay at the B&B or in the wonderful cabins which we were... More

I've been to Greewich Farm on several occasions, an excellent B&B set in a beautiful area with fantastic gardens and views, plenty of walking and cycling routes within easy reach. I also attended the ngs garden open day, the reviewer who didn't rate it must have got out of the wrong side of the bed that day !. I also... More

Visited Greenwick farm 23.08.15 as part of the national gardens open for charity scheme. I am always keen to support the charity and have visited many open gardens in the past finding much inspiration for gardening ideas, lovely purchases and wonderful afternoon teas. Today after travelling many miles to a rather remote spot I was disappointed with the lack of... More

Greenwick Farm is a great place to enjoy East Yorkshire. Fran is a perfect host, the rooms are splendid and breakfast delicious. The garden is amazing and the view down the valley spectacular. You are in the country but close to the cities of York and Beverley. We loved the walks you can do right from the farm and the... More

Really lovely luxury stay whilst doing one of the many long distance walks in the area. The room took our breath away a bit and it was so nice after a slog round of around 17 miles earlier to relax and feel normal again. The gardens are worth paying to see and the place is so elegant that it is... More
