Just arrived home after a 2 night stay, really couldn't fault the place, nice setting and great views over the loch, had a great warm welcome on arrival and the bonus of being dog friendly, all the staff were very helpful, the food was delicious and a nice bar area to sit and enjoy a drink to top the day...

The level of success of a place might be defined by how easy it is to book. My wife and I had an offer for the Loch Leven Hotel to be used by 31 March and inquired in early January. The only days we could have were 15 and 16 January and it is easy now to understand why the...

Hadn't planned to eat here , but after being unable to find our first choice, and and second choice full we followed a recommendation to try the restaurant at this hotel. Its tucked away beside the loch , and is a small quirky hotel. We were warmly welcomed by the receptionist who escorted us through the hotel where we could...

A lovely hotel. Beautiful setting, with views of the loch and the mountains. Loved watching the birds in the morning whilst we were having breakfast. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. A very cosy bar with an open fire and 21 varieties of whiskeys and gins, very comforting after a day's hiking.

This was our second stay at the Loch Leven after staying the same week in 2016. I'm happy to say that the high standards were still in place. The proprietors Noru and Craig run a tight and well organised ship which makes this hotel highly recommended. The bar and restaurant manager Henry also embodies the professionalism yet friendliness and approachability...

Booked the 3 course dinner at £30 each with no drinks. slightly pricy but it was Hogmanay. My starter was goats cheese balls beautifully presented with balsamic vinegar and tasted wonderful, I ordered venison for the mains which was out of this world- wonderfully tender with very tasty red cabbage and creamed potatoes. Unfortunately the cheesecake desert let this, otherwise...

We had the Hogmanay 'gala' dinner, I chose the roast onion soup as a starter. Delicious. Main course was Angus beef. The beef was very well flavoured and would have been delightful had it not been overcooked to the point were it was dry as dust. The gravy was fine but I could not finish my plate which was a...
