This is my regular pub when meeting my friend (and her labrador) for lunch, as it is a dog-friendly pub and they do an excellent Sunday roast. The staff are friendly and helpful (I went there once without any money - by accident - and they let me have a drink without paying, while I waited for my friend to...

£85 for the not so pleasurable stay at this grotty place. The rooms were filthy, old noisy spring mattresses, no protectors, no duvet, only white sheet with old wooly blanket, thick dust on the carpet, don't think they own a Hoover. The toilet was rotten and the shower was clogged with limescale and trimmed with mildew, so much so I never...

Stayed for one night at The Dukes Head Inn Richmond when staying for work. Decided the Premier Inn was too bland and expensive so opted for a back street boozer for accommodation. Not so back street more posh suburb approx 5-10 mins walk from Richmond railway station. A warm welcome when checking in with keys given to me for double...

Spent one night here in June. The room was a little tired and the water pressure in the shower was weak (we were on the top floor), but it was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were great, this is a nice friendly pub and the breakfast was fantastic. We got a cheap deal on booking.com and...

We'd already stayed at this B&B two years ago, so when we returned to the London area we booked here again, having had a nice experience the last time. Our room was again on the third story, but this time we were right above the main road. Also, though we booked a twin room, the beds had been made up...

I booked a long way ahead for a night's stay and had forgotten just how much the bedroom was, but on reflection I think what we had ( a twin room on the second floor for £135) was expensive, even for an expensive area like Richmond. The room was clean and spacious with good quality linen on the beds and...

Our urgent trip to London saw us searching for accommodation. Through a recommendation of a friend, we ended up at the Dukes Head Inn, in Richmond. Pat and his wife Mairead made us very welcome. Our twin room was roomy, with a television and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a water machine outside the room for everyone to...

After reading reviews on Trip Advisor I booked here and wish I hadn't. The car park fits two cars comfortably so be prepared to be asked to move your car or leave your keys behind the bar. The room had stained furniture and a mattress without a protector, so who knows who else's bodily fluids you are sharing! The windows...
