Only stopped one night but was really impressed with the hotel. Excellent service when checking in, a lovely large room with real good attention to detail. Breakfast was decent and, even though we arrived too late, the bar looked superb with a good selection of Craft Ale. Will definitely stop again as we come to Snowdonia a lot.

The hotel was lovely and clean. We were made to feel very welcome by a lovely lady called Amy. She was a fantastic waitress. The food in the restaurant is fantastic. It's not worth looking for anywhere else to eat in the town as think you would struggle to find anything as good

We picked Meadowsweet as our halfway point between South Wales and Lancashire where we were going for Christmas. We arrived in the dark and the hotel looked lovely and inviting, we entered to a warm welcome and a table had been reserved for us for dinner. We went up to our room which was spacious, clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished...

We stayed at The Meadowsweet Hotel after a work Christmas meal. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a room upgrade and we stayed in the four poster bed. The room was very comfortable and inviting with lovely views to sit and enjoy. The extra touches made our stay very special. I...

We stayed in the cottage next door, which is linked to the hotel. We booked this place for a friends birthday. The rooms are spacious, tidy as well as the rest of the house. You even have a wooden chimney to keep you warm. The landlord is very friendly and any problems will be solved right away. We had a...

Stayed in the cottage next to the hotel and it was perfect for the whole group. Our hosts were kind and generous and you couldnt ask for a better setting! Warm fire, comfy furniture and good facilities all add up to a stay that you would be happy with even if you never went sight seeing. The town itself is...

So I arrived here the day before a walking trip which starts on the Sunday, as soon as you enter it's a very welcoming place. The team that run it are very welcoming and run a hotel that I would definitely stay in again. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, I also enjoyed a meal in the restaurant...

Arrived at the hotel to discover we had booked the previous night by mistake. The owner was really good about this and let us change our booking to that night which we really appreciated. He was very friendly and accomodating. The room was spacious and comfortable. The towels were super fluffy and some nice toiletries included. As we had been...

I think this is a great hotel to stay in. Fantastic customer service - friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help - including serving dinner after the restaurant had shut when we'd had a visit to A & E. An imaginative menu, generous portions, food looked lovely, tasted great. Superb breakfast - full English without the grease. I don't...
