We recently had our second stay at Hengar, where we met up with family members from other parts of the country, our home not being big enough accommodate us all. On our first visit we all shared a lodge but this time, there being a small baby involved, we had two. The accommodation is perfectly comfortable and ideal for those...

The door into the lodge scrapped across the floor making it difficult to open. The french doors didn't lock properly so we were unable to leave anything of value in the lodge. The shower worked intermittently and although we asked several times for it to be looked at (and it was, very promptly) the problem was never solved. My daughter's...

On arrival it was a terrible shock to be directed to a small lodge, in a built up area of the park with a hot tub on view for everybody to see. Things got worse when we entered the lodge as there were dead flies, spiders everywhere! Their was dust everywhere. What appeared to look like blood on the stair...

A group of 12 of us stayed in a park lodge and park lodge plus. Don't expect luxury, but it was very good for what we needed it for. You have to bring your own towels and cleaning supplies but other than that the houses were stocked. We went in October so we didn't get a chance to do the...

Although most of the accommodation looks lovely, if you are staying here, I would definitely recommend the waterside cabins. They are modern, comfortable, well equipped and best of all have their own hot tubs! The cabins are located beside a pretty fishing lake which is very quiet and peaceful. Exactly what you need when you want to get away from...

We went out of the school holidays so there wasn't many people there. We had a cherry villa with a hot tub. The accommodation was nice and clean and so was the hot tub. The park itself was a bit dated and could do with a bit of tlc. The pub food was nice but drinks a bit expensive. Pitch...

We stayed in a Hengar Manor lodge - an attractive row of detatched lodges located just off the main car park. Ours had an enclosed patio at the front which was a nice addition compared to some of the others (which had open patio areas). A fairly quirky layout inside with a steep staircase up to a dormer bedroom, which...
