The bedroom is clean basic but never had the heating on gets cold during the night!. Very good choice of beers at the bar!

I popped in for a quick lunch having just grabbed the last parking place on Front Street. Fairly quiet when I arrived, but it had only just gone noon. Pleasant barmaid took my order at the bar (Caesar Salad and a pint of Wainwrights). She asked where I was sitting. I wasn't as I hadn't chosen a table yet. Looking...

Nice friendly pub with good atmosphere and well kept beer, but we had rung in advance, the day before, to book a meal for 6 incl 4 vegetarians, and we were promised and aubergine lasagna and a pasta and tomato sauce would be available- they even rang us back to confirm this, and then they simply were not available, and...

I was in Brampton delivering Christmas presents to relatives, I had not had a drink with my Brother who lives here for a long time so decided to stay the night. The room was comfortable without being anything special but for the price I paid it was perfectly Acceptable. When I went out at night I asked what time the...

My husband and I were staying nearby and decided to try this place for a Sunday lunch. We both had roast beef which was really tasty and the homemade Yorkshire puddings were really good. The pub was welcoming and friendly and we spent a good couple of hours in the bar area enjoying the log fire, food and drink.

Visited a trail along Hadrians wall and needed somewhere to lay our heads. Popped to a pub in Brampton for a quick beer whilst we discussed our options and use the free WiFi. After a pint, the choice was clear and we stayed here, at The Howard Arms. The staff are great, very friendly and prompt. The food was delicious,...

Three miles of dull road walking away from the Wall route, but Brampton itself is really nice and this place perfectly acceptable. £59 for one a bit pricey for a simple place to lay ones head but the room was nice and clean, bathroom ok and staff friendly. Didn't eat dinner so can't comment, but the town was lively on...

The room we had was very nice and clean and the bathroom was also nice. I think maybe the room had been refurbished recently. The bed was fairly comfortable so we slept alright. The food in the hotel restaurant was pretty good, not the best, but it satisfied us and we enjoyed our stay. My husband did enjoy his full...
