As expected from Travel Lodge. Clean and tidy room, no frills, no fuss. Room was very tidy, bathroom great, with a good shower. If I was being fussy, the car park was a bit unkempt, but very accessible. The desk wasn't perfect to work at, but was okay. Would I stay here again? Most certainly.

Stayed for one night whilst on business - room was standard for a travelodge, clean..only complaint was shower gel dispenser was empty on arrival. Desk staff were friendly and full of conversation. Outside looks a bit bleak but don't let that put you off- a warm welcomed awaited me.

Pleasant stay made so by a great team of staff. One particular staff member made me feel comfortable and safe by making time to have some great conversations and a giggle. Her name was Carol. I feel as if I have made a new friend.

We stayed in a family room while visiting Chatsworth and Lyme Hall. Clean rooms and friendly staff. No noise issues, if you request a room on the side away from the road. The boxed breakfast is a nice option.

The hotel is basic as you would expect from a Traveloge, but extremely clean. The bed was clean and comfortable and the shower was fantastic! It was lovely to be asked how my stay was as I left. So often reception staff don't seem to care if everything was OK or not. Small things would have improved the stay such...

The rooms smelt of strong thick mould. It was disgusting to sleep in. We were using the hotel to visit a terminal family member and is not what we needed to come back to late at night. Both of us woke with bites all up our legs. Staff were not welcoming.

Being near a busy main road I was pleased to see the security system on the main door. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and polite. The room and bathroom were both very clean. Our room was at the back so we were not disturbed by any road noise. We enjoyed an excellent meal in the neighbouring Indian restaurant.

We stayed at this hotel the night before our flight from Manchester airport which is about a 20min drive away. It's a very small hotel not far off the motorway, however we could not hear any external noise. The rooms were the standard Travelodge, clean with plenty to space and the usual tea/coffee making facilities. The staff were the best...
