Fantastic evening meal Friday evening. Each one of us had something different and every meal was excellant. The staff were very welcoming and worked hard giving us a very good service. The pub had a raging fire which was kept stoked-up through out the evening offering avery warm and cosy enviroment. We will certainly recommend the Church House to all our...

Travelling on my own I was a little uneasy entering the bar but the staff were very welcoming, showed me to my room and reserved a table for me in the restaurant. The hotel was very clean, the stairs having recently been decorated. My room was small, but I knew it was only a single room. Having said that, it...

We called in after a long walk and were surprised that it was very busy. We found a table and were welcomed and served promptly. There was a wide variety on the menu so we went for 2 courses at £10.95. It arrived quite quickly despite the fact that it was busy. I had the black pudding with mustard. I...

Stopped here for lunch while staying in the area. Had a lovely lasagna with the freshest salad I have had in a pub. Lovely staff who were happy to chat. Very friendly pub with good food. Highly recommended.

If you're ever in Bollington, you absolutely must stop by this little gem. The service is generally very good and the atmosphere is welcoming. They have a decent selection of largers and Ales to suit most guests. The food, from my experience has always been very good. I have yet to have a poor meal.

This is the second time I have stayed at Church House. I was initially attracted by the price, being away on (self-employed) business and having to meet the cost myself. I have stayed in the same room, a single, twice, and whilst everything is rather cosy, all that you need is provided. It is slightly annoying that you have to...

Booked for 20:00, arrived 19:30 and was served straight away. Friendly staff and reasonable choice on the menu. My starter was black pudding and cheese croquette with salad. The croquette was about the size of a golf ball with a marble-sized amount of black pudding inside. Tasty but far too small. Main course was pork medallions which were again tasty...
