Shelleven Guest House has a lovely feel about it as soon as you walk through the door. The owners are really welcoming and bent over backwards to accommodate our dietary needs. The room was on the top floor and was clean, well appointed and had a super king bed which could also be twinned if necessary. The en suite bathroom...

We made our reservation at Shelleven House back in January 2016. When we arrived in June it had been sold to new owners who have been there right at nine weeks. Paul greeted us at the door and was very friendly and helpful. Parking is off street and it is just a short walk into town. Our room was spacious...

This is a pleasant guest house, with good off street parking facilities. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our room which was on the top floor. A very clean en suite room, with a double and a single bed and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Sue, the owner, had taken the trouble to place a...

Two of us stopped here as were working in the local area. The hotel is lovely and clean and well looked after, the two owners are lovely and attend to any of your needs. Breakfast was great, especially the omelettes. Access to the marina and shops, pubs and restaurants all nearby. We shall stop again. Thanks.

Shelleven has to be number 1 in all of Ireland based on our recent 3 week trip to Ireland and 2 weeks in Scotland/England/Wales. Sue & Paul had only taken over running the Guest House 3 days before we arrived and you would not have known it. We stayed 4 nights in the Superior room 2 which was huge and...

We stayed for two nights and would thoroughly recommend it. The service from the new owners was excellent throughout from being greeted by Sue on arrival and chatting to Paul over breakfast. Our room was very nice and had been recently modernised. There is a lovely lounge area as well for guests. It is an excellent location just a few...
